We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. It's a lovely spot opposite the river with a generous size pool and seating area. Our room was very basic but comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Staff were friendly, efficient and made us feel very welcome. It's a 15 min walk to the ICON mall and access to the boats a quick 5 min walk. For price point it's spot on. Thank you and we look forward to returning soon.

I am an Accor Plus Gold member and a returning guest who specifically chose ibis Bangkok Riverside again because of the excellent experience I received during my stays in 2025. Unfortunately, this recent stay felt significantly different from what I previously experienced. The issues were not limited to one department. They included room assignment, lack of proactive loyalty recognition, room cleanliness, delayed housekeeping response, missed room servicing, food quality inconsistencies, an unpleasant interaction regarding Accor Plus dining benefits, and confusion surrounding late check-out arrangements. What disappointed me most was not any single incident, but the accumulation of multiple service failures across different departments during the same stay. I would also like to acknowledge that several restaurant staff members remembered my wife and me from previous visits, which was genuinely appreciated and reflected the hospitality that originally made us return. I am not seeking compensation. I simply hope management will review the consistency of service standards, as the difference between my experience in 2025 and 2026 was significant enough to be concerning.

I have stayed at the hotel several times. It is a relatively low cost option with the safeguard of the Accor brand and the benefit of a higher than usual standard on the basic Ibis model. The location right n the river is sublime, with a great medium size swimming pool which I like to use, and garden backing right up to the water's edge. The rooms are the basic Ibis fare, although you pay a premium for a river view. In my case I was given a high floor room to the southern side which still afforded me a great aspect which I thank the staff for. The only blight on my stay was the length of time it took to clean the room on the Sunday. I think they must have been short staffed or particularly busy, but it wasn’t ready until late afternoon. The floor wasn’t swept properly either. The other two days I was there were fine I didn’t try the breakfast but it looked ok and the dining area and bar look out to the garden and river as well. There are small restaurants and bars along the main Charoen Road ans well ans a small mall,, Icon Siam and all its delights are not far away. You need a taxi if bringing heavy luggage to the hotel. They do provide a shuttle from the hotel to a nearby BTS station. There are busses along the Charoentat Roaf, but they don’t tend to go over the river. So if you want to go to the ferry or other Mall in Bang Rak, then it’s a pleasant but stiff walk, or a short taxi ride.
