Wow! What an absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed 2 nights, leaving just hours before the earthquake hit, so hope everyone is ok. The staff, cleanliness, food, drink and service were all outstanding. The club room benefits were very welcome. We ate in Saffron and wish I could remember the name of our waiter who was excellent as was the food. The Moonbar/Vertigo was an amazing experience I’m glad I went out of my fear of heights to enjoy. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough

The Best Hotel In Bangkok

This was our third visit to Banyan Tree Bangkok and it has to be the overall best hotel in Bangkok. What a wonderful hotel in every respect, from the moment you walk into the hotel until it’s time to leave. Customer service is par excellence, all the staff are the most loveliest, friendliest, kind, helpful and genuine people you could meet. They go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as possible. We love the club lounge on the 19th floor, the breakfast is wonderful as is the afternoon tea and the evening canapés. Thank you so much to the amazing chefs. Diamond and his colleagues deliver great drink service in Club Lounge always making sure no one is sat with an empty glass!!! This time we met a temporary member of staff named Joe, he was delightful with a great sense of humour and made us laugh. We’d love to see him as a permanent member of the team. Wow Wow (I hope I’ve got your name correct) who was our designated contact was always checking with us if we needed anything. These little acts go along way. The house keeping are fantastic, the room was always perfect, I’m in love with the bath crystals! The laundry staff are marvellous too, we handed our laundry in by 11am and by 5pm is was all pressed and hanging up in our wardrobe. We love the roof top pool and really enjoyed chatting with Suksan, he’s very knowledgable, calm and customer focused. He looks out for all the clients staying there and makes sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I was suffering with a sore throat, Suksan was very helpful and kind towards me. Thank you Suksan, we miss you! The Moon Bar is great fun and the cocktails are so good. We had massages at Banyan Tree, they were absolutely divine. I’m so sorry I can’t remember the names of the lady and man who did them. The concierge team is second to none. They pretty much know everything. Their knowledge of Bangkok is incredible and if by a very small chance they don’t know something they will make sure they find the answer. We are in awe of you. We booked a river cruise with the Banyan Tree, what a fabulous evening we had. The boat which is a converted rice barge is gorgeous. Food and drinks were great, the saxophone player provided a nice ambiance, the staff were efficient and friendly and best of all they took a really lovely picture of my husband and I with the Wat Arun Temple as a back drop. Thank you so much. I love the photograph, and I’m normally really fussy!!! For anyone wondering, the hotel is situated near Lumpini park, you can go and see the water monitors there. There are also some nice local restaurants and bars within easy walking distance if you don’t want to eat/drink at the hotel every day. Another really memorable stay for us that we talk about fondly. We really miss everyone at Banyan Tree. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you to each and everyone of you for giving us the best memories to take home.

Has to be the best hotel in Bangkok, although difficult to decide over the shangri la Bangkok, pool was better at Shangri la but that’s about it, everything in banyan tree is a lot newer and definitely feels five star, breakfast was great with lots of choice, pool was a bit small and not many sun beds, not much to do if walking, will need taxis to get to restaurants etc, would definitely recommend.
