I am also a visitor who always check reviews of hotels and make booking.That is why I am writing this to let everyone knows. 1. ---->>The room has a very strong irony weird old smell whenever you come inside. And you can literally hear everyone talking clearly as the room is not sound proof. 2.The weird thing about Thailand Hotels ---->>When I make booking, I have never seen about paying daily deposit fees (500batt) in your stays. Only after making booking, they will let you know that we need to pay extra fees. Why they cannot let us know before booking? And Some hotels accept in your country currency. But at IBIS,I had to give in batt. They said if you want to give with visa card , the deposit money only can receive back after a month or so. So I paid with batt. 3.--->>The receptionists are really not very welcome. They are not helpful. And no one welcome me when I start enter hotel and I asked them to help me carry my luggage but they responded " currently we busy" you carry yourself. And I said- you look - I have two big heavy bags. I need help. And one lady say- okay I carry. But I said " its okay , just take me to the elevator, I do myself. Thats my experience. And when I ask about deposits fees, I feel like their voice is not kind, and kinda felt like shouting me. 4.---->Breakfast sometime have to wait for fillings . Because they only serve little food . If you wake up around 8,9 and go and eat, you definitely have to wait for the meat come. 5.Shower is the worst! Very narrow shower room. Even if you don't open warm , it will rotate 3s hot water,3s cold water. If u arrange heat level, you will still get 3s very hot, 3s cold . I don't even wanna shower there . I stayed there for 14 days . As soon as I arrived there, I even wanna cancel my booking. The service is bad, the room is not beautiful. This hotel is only good for normal stay. If you expect a little bit luxury with this price, you definitely shouldn't choose. Overall, It was my first time in Thailand. some ladies from breakfast place is kind . Thanks for this. I will remember this experience.

I’m almost satisfied with stay at your hotel. I always stay here when I visit Bangkok. However, I have some concerns this time. First, everyday, hotel supplies 2 bottles of water but housekeeping forgot it and I asked receptionist. How about put water dispenser at every floor hall? AccorHotels in Japan start putting it public area in hotel. Secondly , some receptionist are unfriendly and rough . No smiles. I think Thai is smile county. When I checked-in, I found welcome letter from hotel , but she didn’t pass me. I asked her is it welcome letter? Finally she gave me it. Lastly, I stayed at 2stay 4 nights in one week. When I paid rate , I used Accor rewards point. Price difference I paid by credit card. However, 2 stay are showed “0rewards point and 0 status nights”. In my account. When I asked male receptionist about this , he says points operation are in France ,so hotel can not solve this matter. I must ask Accor customer care in Japan. AccorHotels in japan, when I use rewards point and paid by credit card only about 2 euros,it gave me rewards points and status point. Hotel says “ over 1 euro by cash or credit card ( not included tax and service charge) , we give members Accor points. It’s very trouble for me to ask customer care. Please check my cases.

I recently booked a stay at Ibis Sathorn, expecting the usual high standards associated with the Accor brand. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. Here are the key points: Unfriendly Staff: The staff at Ibis Sathorn seemed to treat guests as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to stay. Their attitude was unwelcoming and borderline rude. Umbrella Policy: When I requested an umbrella due to rain, I was shocked to be informed that I could only use it for a maximum of half an hour. This rigid policy left me feeling quite uncomfortable. Lack of Cooperation: The staff’s lack of cooperation further exacerbated the situation. Simple requests were met with resistance, making the overall experience frustrating. Water Bottle Limitation: Unlike other Accor properties I’ve stayed at, Ibis Sathorn provided only two complimentary water bottles. For a hotel under such a reputable brand, this was disappointing. Missing Dental Kit: Perhaps the most surprising aspect was the absence of a dental kit. Ibis Sathorn failed to provide this basic amenity, which is standard in most hotels. In summary, my stay at Ibis Sathorn was marred by unfriendly staff, restrictive policies, and a lack of essential amenities. As a loyal Accor guest, I expected better. I hope the management takes note of these issues and works towards improving the overall guest experience. 🏨👎
