This was my second stay with the same problem. In May I was given a room with an air conditioner that produced airflow but no cooling. I complained and received a written assurance from management that it would not happen again. I then stopped staying here for three months, after years of staying regularly. I returned on 14 August on the strength of that assurance. I was assigned a room at 21:45 with an audibly faulty air conditioner — I could hear it before opening the door. I was moved to another room immediately, which shows the hotel was not full. I was later told the original room had already been reported faulty that morning. The front desk team were excellent, as they have always been. The problem is not the staff on the floor. This stay also shows as ineligible for earning points, and the goodwill points I was promised have not been credited. I have raised this in writing with the ownership.
