Ibis Sathorn is an older property that sits on a corner an easy flat walk (8-10 mins) to Lumphini MRT stop where you will find One Bangkok shopping centre. Across the road there is a 7 Eleven and a few places to grab dinner. There is apparently a shuttle but I never saw it, perhps you have to book? The hotel itself is fine, a lack of powerpoints was annoying, nothing by the bed and only one double in the corner but the fridge made charging devices and my lap top tedious. The bed is comfy, the shower had good pressure and overall the only thing I wished I had was a spare pillow. This is my second stay, would I book again? Probably not, There are better options for similar prices but if the price is right it's perfectly fine.

Except for the walk to the hotel from the MRT. station (Lumpini), it was good with One Bangkok nearby. Rates were reasonable for young people.
