However the pool construction made the pool essentially unusable (or at least not very pretty), and completely obscured the view from the fitness center. Also the elevator situation was pretty terrible. I often had to wait over 10 minutes for an elevator. And the elevators didn't light up or make a sound when arriving, so it was easy to miss one.

Very good stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom very good. The furnishings, lighting and electrical outlets etc are a bit old. Staff were fabulous and the food of a high standard. The works at the pool were disappointing and the two lifts to get up and down to the ground floor are frustrating.

Breakfast in Red Oven was a highlight with amazing and attentive staff, a great breakfast spread and relaxed atmosphere. We are marathon runners so we love the proximity to Lumphini Park the Green Mile and Benjakti Park and of course the coffee post run in the foyer on our return. Best coffee in BKK. When can we come back ??

This was my go-to hotel in Bangkok for years. When it opened, and for many years after, it was stylish, cool, innovative, hip and just wonderful. The staff were (and still are) super friendly and the rooms trendy and comfortable: all in a great location. But now, the rooms feel dated, some things didn’t work well, or were tatty. I feel it needs a full refurb now to bring it back to the glory it once was.

Overall, the hotel facilities were great, but the service was deeply disappointing. There was an issue during check-in, and despite sending an email around September 17th with several requests under the name Jinkyung H., not a single one was reflected during my stay. My stay on October 2 was thoroughly satisfying overall. The hotel staff consistently put guests’ comfort and convenience first, and I experienced a level of service that truly reflected the hotel’s high standards.
However, my return stay on October 5 was a completely different experience. In an effort to enjoy at least a little of the hotel lounge’s happy hour, we rushed to the hotel immediately after arriving at the airport. We arrived in the lobby just 15 minutes before happy hour ended, but the check-in process took far too long. I explained to the staff that we would really like to experience the happy hour and asked if we could use the lounge first, but my request was refused on the grounds that check-in had to be completed first.
Ultimately, our room was still not ready, and we were told to wait in the lounge after happy hour had already ended at 7:00 p.m. When we arrived at the lounge, all the food had already been cleared away. The lounge staff were not even aware that we had been directed there because our room was not ready, which left us genuinely bewildered and frustrated.
To make matters worse, the upgraded suite we were given had already run out of both shampoo and conditioner in the shower. We only discovered this late at night after returning from an outing, so we had no choice but to use the shampoo and bath amenities we had brought with us.
In addition, the shower drain was not functioning properly, leaving us standing in water that would not drain while showering.
Unfortunately, this stay was in stark contrast to our previous positive experience on October 2. The poor coordination between staff, the lack of attention to basic room amenities, and the inadequate bathroom facilities made this an extremely disappointing experience.
This stay has made it clear that we will not be returning to SO Hotel in the future.

The hotel room looks beautiful but I would like a few improvements like having more user-friendly switches to manage the lights of the room. It was also difficult to charge things using the bedside socket because the socket was enclosed in a hole so it was difficult to put my multi travel plug into the socket. Perhaps it can be modified to have some USB charging ports next to the bed. The staff were really awesome and informative. I felt very welcome and was treated with the highest level of respect and courtesy. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from the light rail which is key to going to the shopping areas of Bangkok. I actually don't mind its location as it is less busy and more quiet. If I go to Bangkok next time, I don't mind coming to the hotel again. I hope the hotel can looking into making charging devices more convenient by the bedside.

Easy access to different parts of the city as it is located right next to an MRT station. For instance, the China Town is only a few stations away if you take the MRT. The room was good but the design of the furniture was a little awkward. The metal theme is a little too white and it is quite puzzling that the sofa was set so it blocks the full size window and faces inwards and wasted the good view over the park. The hard wooden frame may be a bit dangerous so be careful if you want to have a quick seat on the sofa.

I really enjoy staying SObangkok because of its convenient central location, which makes it very easy to get around. I believe I have stayed here for almost 30 nights now, and there are many things that continue to impress me.
The friendliness and service of the reception team, the Club Lounge team, and the bar on 9th floor and the bar on the 29th floor is also one of my favorite places. The beautiful views, great music, and delicious cocktails make it a wonderful place to relax.
One small disappointment is that the welcome amenity has been changed from the mixed fruit that I used to request to mango cake, which I have never eaten because I don’t really like it. However, compared with all the positive experiences I have had here, this is only a very minor point.
Overall, I truly enjoy staying here and always appreciate the warm service and wonderful atmosphere.

Firstly, i was dissappointed during check in time due to have to wait more than 45 minutes and there was no counter check in for Member. As a gold member i felt dissappointed at that time..but in the evening, Mr Umphol Ongyoltham offer me to change and upgrade my room to water element themed and it was an awesome experience..i do really love it and appreciate it. It was make my day become unforgettable memories. I wish i could stay and get water element again fo my next stay.

I'm very disappointed about benefits from my Platinum member All Accor.
First i didnt get any free upgrade room.
Second, the hotel didnt inform us at check in if we cant get late checkout, and the last day the hotel call me at 13.00 PM if we must checkout at 13.30 PM it is same like they are driving us out.
