Check-in took more than 2 hours, inspite of checking in online, in advance. Reported to the reception at 2.50 PM and We were given the keys at 4.30 PM. When an umbrella was asked for going to the beach, since it was raining, we were told they don't have.

The trip was booked with aim of relaxation. The experience was exactly that, comfort right from room to restaurant food and staff. The staff went beyond normal to ease us and our 2 yr kid, who also got accustomed to the restaurant staff. The location too is great sea side view, continous winds need a mention. The whole thing was hasslefree.

The service of Novotel juhu is degrading day by day. I am member of Accor, yet forget about privilege, a normal attention was not received. The rooms ( Royal suites plus 2 more) were received hour late than check in time, again at gadda da vida where we opted to use our coupon of complementary drinks as we usually do, they this time created issue saying a child below age of 18 will not be allowed to even sit at their area as its a bar, happening of such things was too bad in front of our guests. Then we opted to sit at Square restaurant were we were told that complementary drinks does not apply to whiskey, this change in rule was not informed to me earlier, again insulting in front of guests. I made another booking for my extra guests, i was initially denied to have complementary drinks coupon saying that does not apply for booking where i am not staying. All this changes in rules should be communicated with members,or if it doesn’t exist, the new staff should be so informed. The checkin process was damn slow, the receptionist were rude. Those old staff who knew us as members were kind enough to make our stay at-least worth, otherwise we would had opted to leave the place then and there. Breakfast was limited, which can be understood as covid is still there, but partiality at live counters (DOSA) and then Tea as well- i had asked for dosa and they told they will get it on my table, but they left without serving my order, when i told them they said counter is closed but very next movement the counter was opened for payed breakfast services. TEA was ordered by me which I received after serving at 4 tables who ordered after me. Pathetic service, waste of stay.

Hi we loved the stay, the rooms have great view. 1) lovely rooms Few things that might help you improve are 1) synthetic material used for quilt.. pls avoid that 2) cleanliness on lamps weren't upto the mark 3) the food was insanely expensive...not justified for little quantity provided... 4) also would have really appreciated some promptness from staff ...may be a welcome kit chocolate pc or whatever since we had a kid along...this makes it more on relationship that the transactional affair.

Wonderful stay at Ocenview Suite

Stayed 4 nights in July 2021. Great location . Stayed at Room no 740 , top floor ocean view suite with Multiple windows providing Amazing views of the beach from Versova to Juhu Chowpatty. Every day high tide low tide and views of white surf from the windows of the room was mesmerising, even at night. Spacious suite : With good WiFi . Bathroom had jacuzzi : very useful at a time when SPA is not available . Food : breakfast was pretty good spread and good service. Meals: Non Veg Risotto, Prawns in Goan Curry were delicious while Chicken in Thai Green Curry was not so good. Should try their Mango Lassi and Irish Coffee Since location is right on beach which is accessible from hotel : we used to take a morning walk on the beach, play frisbee , take pics . A few things which could have been better: the hotel was fully booked . However with restrictions and no scope for entertainment, some in-house entertainment could have been organised . The house keeping lady did a wonderful job but was over stretched and could do our room not before 4 PM. House keeping was very responsive. Room service also was quick. Small issues with extension of stay and reward points was quickly resolved - the GM : Gorav Arora personally got involved . That’s great customer service as things can always go wrong: how quickly they are fixed is more important . In all a wonderful stay

Good stay but needs to improve on maintenance

Please be proactive in identifying and resolving maintenance issues. 1. Our room bed reading light could not be switched off (the button was not functioning). 2. The shower venetian blind could not be rolled up/down as the chain had slipped from the roller. 3. Do not understand why no floor towel or shower cap is provided. 4. The GST amount at the time of booking and in the intimation I received on email calculated GST @ 18% against the applicable rate of 12%. This is a serious issue and must be resolved with your IT team. All the above are small matters for a rated hotel like yours. The cost is negligible. Why wait for the guest to complain? You have 3 hours after every check out to do your own audits. Please do not resort to saving your pennies. You will end up losing customers. Please be proactive for better customer experience.

Room AC was not working have to call Twice , No Toiletry kept in room prior to check-in, No remote for TV, Sound not working on TV, have to called many times the room service to finally get it working even after Check-in all the issue got resolved after 8:00pm

If you wanna see the Juhu beach view only then this is the hotel to go for or to stay in for, other than that there is nothing great left about this hotel Rooms average Bed Mattress below average Cleanliness is good Food is good Hospitality is good Reception alertness and waiting time and easy check in is worst (Had a very bad experience for check in even after checking in from the mobile app still my check in took like 30mins and they gave me a discount saying room charges have dropped down so I was like refunded back and next day while check out they said it was a mistake from their side and they would want the same amount back for the room) --thanks to Mr Amas and Mr Nitish They are giving the latest check in i.e 3pm not before that other hotels give 12pm or 2pm maximum And a lot of voice of doors banging on the 7th floor they are not at all sound proof you can hear loud open and shut of doors in your room that's the worst part

Very disappointing service

Faced many issues when we visited this time. 1. Expected amenities to be shut due to covid, but were told that ALL restaurants would be open. Eventually, turned out that this was not the case. 2. Bedsheets in the room were not clean. Had to get them changed after arrival. 3. Guests were not allowed to visit after mid-night due to "security reasons". Have never seen such a restriction by any other 5 star property. On being questioned, i was shown some fine print on the check-in form that i had signed. Overall quite disappointing.

The hotel is classified as a 5 star hotel but it is really more in the 4 star category in terms of ambience, room interiors and even aspects of service. We had a challenge getting a table for dinner, the shower was not working properly and valet was not available. The location is good, the Gadda de Veda restaurant is worth a visit in evening. Rest is alright.
