The stay was satisfactory to good. The buffet lunch served was extremely good with food being served hot and delicious. However the dinner buffet was satisfactory as the non veg items were not served hot. Had highlighted this to the staff. The breakfast (south Indian) needs some improvement. The idlis and dosas are not up to the mark in terms of taste and texture. For some strange reason there was a shortage of bisleri bottled water and also soda. This should not be the case in a hotel chain of repute. Providing Reverse osmosis water should not be the only option to be given to guests. The stewards who clean the table at the restaurant need to be provided with disposable gloves rather than use their bare hands for the task for hygiene reasons. However the restaurant staff have been very professional in delivering excellent customer service. The front office counter need to be manned with more staff to allow less waiting time of guests during check in. The lone staff is being tasked with attending calls and check in duties and this can be very frustrating to a guest to wait unnecessarily. It seems that the front office staff are doing their best to cope with this extra pressure. Guests are of various types and some are mannerless in trying to jump the queue. They should be advised by front office staff that they will have to await their turn even if it meant just asking a question to the staff. The windows of the hotel room are stained and dirty. This needs to be cleaned from the outside. Visibility is poor. However the housekeeping staff have done a wonderful job to maintain the cleanliness of the interiors of the rooms and passages.
