I had been apprehensive reading previous reviews but we had a really good stay, staff at reception were always helpful. The room was clean and housekeeping visited everyday. We arrived during the rainstorm, our cases were wet on the inside and most o. our clothes were soaked through, reception gave us a spare electric heater (you already have one in each room) which really helped us to dry clothes out more quickly. The bathrooms each have a permanent hairdryer as well which helped us dry items out to. Great location for the RER A, it would have been useful for the hotel information to say which exit to leave from as we chose the wrong one during the rainstorm and had a 9 minute walk rather than 3 minute walk, maybe our clothes wouldn’t have been so wet but I can’t blame the hotel for that. Breakfast was ok, plenty to eat but some random offerings o. cous cous, raw carrot and cauliflower amongst the breads and jams! Nice cheeses though. The first night we were really hungry, arrived about 8:30pm, & reception said we could eat in their restaurant, we tried to get into the restaurant with 2 small children, and were told 20 minutes wait. After 20 minutes he returned and said 2 hours! He told us to go to McDonald’s round the corner. Not ideal in a rain storm when we’d just put on the only dry clothes we had available, again, not their fault but communication could have been clearer. He was very busy and working hard but we could have eaten ourselves by the time he told us it was another 2 hour wait. We weren’t told we needed to book in advance either so do book if you know you want to eat there. The lighting in the room is poor, but I find this in most similar hotels. Most lights are red so visibility isn’t ideal when trying to find something or do hair/make up. There is very little space to manoeuvre around the bed but again, this is typical o. French hotels. Also, breakfast is served in the hotel next door, we went outside the first morning to get back in, it was still raining but not as heavy as the previous day, when we left the restaurant we realised you can walk indoors between both hotels avoiding going outside! Something for us to remember next time!!!
