At check-in, there was no express counter for cardholding customers. There was a long wait, and at no point did anyone even look at us or tell us that it would take a long time. In the room, not a single electrical socket was working, so I was unable to charge any of my devices, computers, phones or tablets during the night, even though I had paid for the room. The bathroom sink was also blocked. I reported all of this the following morning. No one even looked at me while I was explaining the situation. I was simply told “thank you”, without any apology, which would have been the bare minimum. The staff at the Novotel reception desk during breakfast were not friendly at all. They seemed unhappy to be there. Perhaps they should consider changing jobs.
