We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It is in an excellent position for evening strolls to the restaurants and for touring all of the D Day beaches and further afield Mont Saint Michel a bucket list tick. The staff are very helpful and cannot do enough to make your stay pleasant. Our Port view room threw up daily entertainment provided by the fishermen going about their business whilst we drank wine on the balcony. The lounge area and bar were used by us every evening and provided a comfortable relaxing end to a busy day touring with added World Cup Football which the hotel team had set up for the guests to watch together. A brilliant atmosphere. Breakfast (always a highlight) was a super buffet with enough choice for everyone it was very much to our taste and delicious. There is another Ibis hotel in the port but this hotel is by far the better placed so we are relieved to choose well. We are both in our 60,s and it was our first visit to France and from the welcome at this hotel , the beautiful villages and impeccable cleanliness around the whole of Normandy , and the sheer joy of driving here we will definitely return. We were both incredibly affected on visits to the Monumental American Normandy cemetery and Bayeux commonwealth cemetery and at all the beaches and military emplacements but you have to come and see the sacrifice. Thank you to all at the Ibis Bayeux Port en Bessin.

We had a 2 night stay at the Ibis Port en Bessin and were lucky enough to have a room at the front of the hotel on the 1st floor with a balcony which overlooked the working port area. The room had a comfortable double bed with AC and good storage. The small bathroom with walk in shower was a little different as you stepped up into the space which felt like a bathroom that you have in a cabin on the cross channel ferries. Breakfast was plentiful with good choice and not overly expensive like some Ibis establishments! Staff were attentive and friendly.
