As a solo female traveller safety is important to me and I felt very safe here. The carpark was fabulously close and exclusive to guests , also secure. It was great to have snacks and drinks available on site and the breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient, thank you. My only slight negative. The room was a little chilly (19 degrees and the weather was cold) and the controls would not work ( I assumed controlled centrally) . Tea /coffee making in the room would be a great improvement and normal tea at breakfast a bonus instead of designer teas . However these negatives are not huge and would not stop me from re booking. Merely a tip for the hotel to improve. Thanks for the great stay .

We had a most enjoyable stay at the hotel. The foyer and reception area was spacious and welcoming. The staff were friendly, considerate, courteous and efficient. The bedroom was of good size for a couple, modern and well maintained fittings. The breakfast choice was good and taken in a pleasant dining area. However, although several leaf teas were available there was no English breakfast tea. Unfortunately we do not like Earl Grey tea. We appreciated the fact that the hotel served snacks from the bar at lunchtime and the evening. At the same time the hotel was in a short walking distance, about 10 minutes, from the town centre where several restaurants were available for those with a greater appetite. Private parking at the rear of the hotel is helpful and for those with electric cars there were several charging points available.
