Safes dont work but overall very good. I was psrt of a group on a wartour, great location, parking, nice hotel, good breakfast.

The hotel seems tired. The bathroom is dangerous. The door opens inwards and only clears the toilet by 1". If anyone had a medical issue, the only way to get them out would be to cut through the door. The food in the breakfast area was inedible. Cold runny eggs and room temperature bacon. No A/C in the rooms.

Bonjour, Nous sommes désolé que l'expérience au de notre hotel n'ait pas correspondu à vos attentes. Nous somme tout de même surpris par ce retour car chacun des points que vous évoquez aurait pu être traité immédiatement sur place par notre équipe. Concernant la salle de bain, nous disposons de plusieurs chambres dont des chambres à mobilité réduite avec des salles de bain plus spacieuses dont les toilettes sont situées directement dans la salle de bain. Si cette configuration (toilettes plus petits car séparés de la salle de bain) représentait une inquiétude particulière, notamment en raison d'un problème médical, nous aurions été ravis de vous proposer cette autre chambre. Concernant la climatisation, l'ensemble de l'hôtel est équipé. Si vous avez rencontré des difficultés pour l'utiliser, notre réception, présente 24h/24, aurait eu grand plaisir à vous accompagner dans son fonctionnement. Enfin, concernant le petit-déjeuner, notre équipe est présente en salle durant le service et aurait volontiers réchauffé ou recuit votre bacon afin qu'il corresponde davantage à vos attentes. Il est dommage que vous restiez sur cette impression de « Propriété délabrée. À éviter. », car durant votre séjour de trois jours, nous aurions été ravis d'améliorer votre expérience si nous avions eu connaissance de votre mécontentement, hors nous ne savons tout cela qu'a travers ce commentaire. Pour vos prochains séjours à l'hôtel, nous vous encourageons à ne pas hésiter à solliciter le personnel sur place. Stay was fine. We had issues with the thermostat in our room two out of five nights

Firstly, we really appreciated the friendliness of the staff which were first class. The hotel also was very clean albeit dated. The negatives are: room safe not working and that was not mentioned at check-in. Staff did offer for us to use the hotel safe. What was not acceptable is a lack of refrigerator in the room - I have never seen that in a 4 star hotel. Once again staff offered to store my wife’s spare insulin but it is inconvenient to say the least. In the shower no hand rail or non slip mat. There was no evident extraction in the bathroom or toilet. The bedside reading lights could not work independently and an insect (silverfish) in the bed. Although the breakfast was good the dinner was a disappointment. Believe it was prepared off site and not of good quality. You could not order any vegetables as an extra which suggests nobody is cooking… Although not a disaster it was still a bit of a disappointment for the budget. The location was good and parking no problem. As I said, the excellent staff made it acceptable.

We would, however, like to provide some clarification regarding a few of the points you mentioned. We do have rooms equipped with walk-in showers that include grab bars. Had this requirement been brought to our attention before or during your stay, we would have been happy to offer a suitable room, subject to availability. We also have non-slip shower mats available at reception for guests who require them. Regarding our restaurant, all meals are prepared on-site using fresh ingredients, many of which are sourced locally from regional suppliers. We take great pride in the quality of our products and cuisine. We are therefore sorry to hear that the dinner service did not meet your personal expectations. As for the safe and refrigerator, it is true that these facilities are not available in every room. However, we offer secure storage solutions at reception, which is staffed 24 hours a day. Guests are welcome to leave valuables in our secure safe and store items requiring refrigeration, such as medication, at any time. Thank you again for your comments.
