We stayed for 2 nights at the Novotel. Staff were all very helpful, breakfast was very pleasant with good variety ( hot selection which was a nice surprise). The hotel was really well located on the edge of Bayeaux centre - about 15 mins walk so we could leave our car on the hotel car park without the hassle of time centre parking. A large Leclerc was just round the corner and the D day beaches and memorials within easy reach. All in all a very comfortable and hassle free stay.

A good sized room. Very attentive and friendly staff. No noise at night because of the double door system to the corridor and excellent double glazing. Comfortable bed. Room cleaned and serviced very well everday. Reasonably priced restaurant, (except the wine). Tasty and inovative menu. Safe and secure free parking. Very well placed for visiting all 5 of the D-Day beaches, towns, monuments, museums and cemeteries. I will return and stay here again.

We were there on a tour of the Omaha beaches. Who's there for 2 days visiting all six beaches from D-Day The rooms were very nice I got to admit that. They had a group rate for the food we had two dinners there first night we had one chicken wing with noodles a soup and a dessert 40 Euros. And they said that was a group rate we had 25 people with us chicken winghead 2 in of white meat and one drummy. No sauce of any kind on the noodles no bread with the meal oh maybe we did have some bread. Crappy food. The second dinner also cost us 40 euros we had boiled dark meat turkey also with noodles same noodles. It had about a half a tablespoon of sauce in the middle of the noodles and that was it. I do not think our tour director which is a small independent operation and he's been doing this for 30 years the hotel will know who we're talking about. Probably will not have that business anymore had many complaints out of the 25 that was with us most people didn't finish the meal we ate the soup and the dessert which was even crappy Paul.
