Nice hotel on the outskirts od Caen, we only stayed one night for the ferry home next day.

Everything excellent only spoilt by a ticking noise from the air con necessitating earplugs

Great ibis! Kind and very professional reception, clean and comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast spread. The car park is fenced at night and the area is entirely safe. Onsite Courtepaille was average, with a basic menu and some missing items - very busy! Hotel itself shares a parking area with a McDonalds and the ibis budget. Carrefour is a few blocks away and there’s a takeaway pizza place nearby. Otherwise you’ll need to take a (not so frequent) bus into Caen for food, unless you eat onsite. Ultimately, this was a perfect spot for our family and I’d return again, if in the area!

we found the hotel to be clean and welcoming. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. breakfast time we found the bread was very dry and the yogurts were out of date on our last morning. in the bedroom, the mattress protector crunched and moved all the time, taking the sheet with it and the pillows disappeared into nothing.
