We stayed at overnight on the start of our tour of Normandy. It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful peaceful spot.. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Our only setback was the GPS in our car took us on the scenic route, through some very narrow country roads but that was all part of the experience. We discovered the following day that there was a more direct way back to the highway.

Arrived and we were met with a warm welcome. Rooms more than adequate. Dinner e collect with good staff and environment. Possibly the best Mercure my wife and I have stayed in within 30 years! Thank you Normandy.

This is a really good hotel. Recpetion area, bar and restaurant all excellent. The menu in the restaurant was fantastic with an awesome display and selection of cheese. Food and wine quality was great. Rooms were good - bathroom a little on the small side and rooms a little tight but that’s only because there were 3 of us in the room. Staff are exceptionally good, very welcoming. Location is also perfect. A short drive to Port en Bessin which is a lovely town. We went there for breakfast as the €20 charge each in the hotel, I thought was a little steep. And good location for visiting all o f the DDay locations and also Bayeux. Would highly recommend.

I was told during check-in that we were upgraded, only to get exactly the room that I booked. The room smelled very very strongly of plastic (from the sofa I think)

Good location

Hotel is in a great location for the wartime beaches and memorials. Obviously fabulous too for golfers. Hotel itself was very good and our only issue was breakfast, advertised as being until 1030. By 0930 all bacon and croissants had gone and upon asking was told there wouldn’t be any more. Also some other items, eg fruit yoghurt had also been extinguished. If breakfast is until 1030 these things should be topped up.
