We spent three nights here in October, 2025. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the restaurant on the property and thought their breakfast was quite good. The hotel service was excellent. We left some clothes in our room and they were shipped to us in the USA in less than a week. That’s great service!

Reception staff very nice and helpful. Restaurant staff not so much..struggled to smile. Food left “a lot” to be desired. Buffet for breakfast ok but you cannot order anything à la carte. Dinner was just ok. Only at there once! Rooms are dated, flooring in “Superior” room super hard on your feet and they don’t provide slippers. Bathrooms were the worse! The smell of urine out of pipes, drains in both of our rooms was awful. Really made our stay unpleasant. Would it recommend or go back.

Last minute decision to stay close to cherbourgh , one hour away , fabulous hotel and staff . No negatives regarding this stay

This was our second stay here this year. We have booked again for next Summer. The hotel is well situated for golf having two very good challenging courses. The rooms are fine though the bathrooms are a little cramped. The restaurant is fine though the menu is limited and needs changing with more emphasis on daily specials and fish. Wines and cheeses superb. Mainly the staff are all very helpful and friendly
