I had last stayed here around 28 years ago on a golf trip. This time was with my son on a tour of the Normandy landing beaches. The rooms were unfaultable. Amelie and Ines on reception were great and even tolerated my broken French! The hotel is in a peaceful location, and given the heatwave, the pool was in constant use. I would strongly recommend this hotel, whether for golfers or for exploring the region

We really liked the hotel. Everything was great. Two things they might consider is that the pool wasn't clean enough and needed some renovation. In the end my younger son got infection from the pool but it can happen... Rooms should also be checked against humidity.

Amelie, Ali and Karine (excuse the spelling) were the best! From the moment we stepped through the door, until leaving, nothing was a problem, my wife Zara and I were treated like Kings and Queens. We booked an additional nights stay over as we wanted a day relaxing after touring all the DDay beaches - again, no trouble. Amelie worked her magic and there was no room change required. Ali and K got all the guest in the bar out on the front hotel balcony for Friday night fireworks. The team a Mecure Omaha Beach are a credit to your organisation.

Overall a good hotel for our one night stay. It is older, so it didn’t smell very fresh. Thinking they should trade out carpet for just tile or wood floors since the humidity on the coast is most likely the culprit. It was clean and the staff are great.

Quiet, welcoming. Our room was a suite with a loft space and the AC couldn't keep up with the heat wave. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed both a dinner and the breakfast buffet.

Very good location. Excellent breakfast. “Accessible” room disappointing…I specifically asked if the room was accessible and was assured it was. In fact the room fell short on a number of counts: 1) the lavatory entrance door was too narrow for either a wheelchair or a walker 2) no shower stool was in the room or available from reception, despite requests . We were told by reception that there was a stoo, but they couldn’t find it. 3) A fire extinguisher was attached to the wall immediately outside the room, making access to the room very difficult. 4) The room was only accessible via a route that included a number of steps, making access impossible for a wheelchair user. 5) No handles were installed in the shower, which combined with the lack of shower stool, made the shower unusable. 6) The room wasn’t very thoughtfully furnished for a disabled person, with only one chair and a strange wooden «block » on the floor, which just got in the way. The bar area was unusable as the seating was limited to bar stools only, which are totally impractical. The lower bar area was via 2 steps, rendering wheelchair access impossible. The alternative route to the dining room, avoiding the steps was lengthy and required us to knock at the French windows to attract someone to allow us access. (This alternative route was only found on day 2, as it wasn’t explained to ourselves on check in).
