We choose the IBIS Bretangne Caen to put us close to the Normandy beaches. The hotel was nice, and within walking distance to a number of restaurants. Parking was good.

the room was too hot with no air conditioning. The window only opened a small amount and the noise throughout the night from the road was ongoing. Our room was not made up when we opened door and had to be given another room which turned out to be smaller and too hot

Nice simple rooms with everything you wish. Hot shower, clean and with nice room layout for overnight stays. Overall great value for the money and we had a very pleasant stay.

Room was comfortable and clean. However, room and hotel show signs of wear. Although it is a budget hotel, a few more towels would have been good. The shower room was separated from the room only by a curtain. The Staff was very helpful.
