As my wife is disabled, we had the same Accessible room as we had about 3 years ago. The receptionist-Cassandra- spoke good English, and welcomed us to the hotel. The access and room were very clean, the only problem was the weight and closure of the bedroom door. It was like having a workout, especially for an 80 year old! Definitely use again, next time we visit Normandy.

Staff pleasant, room basic but adequate for Autumn and Winter.(no air-conditioning) Breakfast buffet had a good choice of items. Parking good. Close to MacDonalds and its sister hotel that has a restaurant and bar.

Our usual hotel for a stopover from & to the UK a few times a year. As there is no air-conditioning we have had to stay in another hotel during the heatwaves this summer. Now that it has cooled down we are back. We love the secure overnight parking & the buffet breakfast.

It is a cheap hotel, I knew that, but it was worse than any other hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm 46 and have travelled a lot. Problems as above. I think the most fundamental problem is that other room doors slamming caused the interior of our room (mainly bathroom) to audibly rattle. This kept us awake. I guess it's pre-fab sections stacked together? It's at end of life and needs completely demolishing.

Room was basic but clean and comfortable. The hotel is well located with easy access to the motorway and local major roads. Secure overnight parking with a locked gate was a bonus.

Comfortable stay, and excellent breakfast make this place an excellent stop over 20 minutes from the ferry. Really close to rocade, and easy to find. 24 hour service is a great added extra when you’ve spent hours (!) queuing to get out of the port. The night receptionist was a lovely guy who made us feel very welcome. What’s not to like? At less than £76 for. Bed and breakfast it represents brilliant value.

Never again No bar, no water in room, no heating controls. All rather horrible

Dear Sir, We are very sorry that your experience in our hotel was not as good as you hoped. We do try our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is true we do not have a bar in the hotel but there are vending machines and a bar in the hotel next door (1 min walk ) where the staff is more than happy to serve you. There is drinkable tap water in the rooms and a water fountain in the lobby. No plastic water bottles for environmental reasons. and as for the air-conditioning it is true we do not have any. The hotel was very nice and clean, the bed comfortable and the continental breakfast food choices, were good and very plentiful. Our room was over the car park and so cars were arriving there until very late and there was a lot of traffic noise from somewhere nearby. A building close by was lit up very brightly all night which was annoying as it came under and around the window blind.
