Our room was clean and tidy, adorable, had everything you need, and a great view of the Seine River. The location was great; not a long walk from the Eiffel Tower and close to a metro station when needed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again!

I am very familiar with Paris and, normally, do not choose to stay near the Eiffel Tower but this hotel was available for my dates and its rates were reasonable so I gave it a shot. I can say, with certainty, that I will seek out this hotel again in the future! I love this hotel's location - specifically because the Metro, Bus and RER Line C stops are just steps away from the hotel's door. (The RER Line C was undergoing infrastructure work so it was not running while we were there, but it will be back up and running again for the next time we're there). :) Our room was fairly large, for Parisian standards and we had a really great balcony that we used nightly (once the heat subsided). There is a tall, beautiful building being built across the street so the view is somewhat limited, but it was still nice because you can see the river to the left and some nice buildings to the right, too. (You cannot see the Eiffel Tower). The STAFF in this hotel was extraordinarily helpful, nice and accommodating. Everyone we encountered were great, but I only recall three of their names (apologies to any employees whose names I did not obtain): Agathe, Eliane/Eliana, and Nabil. A huge thank you to all of you that truly made our stay very enjoyable. We hope to meet you again in the future!

Cannot get two room close for our families to be together, not good for families

We found a generous sized room and bathroom, well sound-proofed and nicely decorated. This is a small hotel with limited catering for breakfast/hot drinks. Reception staff are friendly with good English, and they booked our taxi to the airport with no fuss.

Well-located, small but comfortable stay. Close to the metro and RER lines, which made getting around very convenient. We also rented a car and easily found parking spaces in front of the hotel. Great view of the river and a tasteful French breakfast. The room was spacious and included Nuxe bath products.

My stay at the Mercure was wonderful, enjoyed every second - loved my room, amazing view of the Seine, very clean and comfortable bed. Good location. Overall comfortable. Would have been nice to have a chair to sit in the room, especially as there was only a very small sitting area by the reception. No where to sit and relax. Poor selection of tea/coffee in room although OK in the breakfast area.

Although a very central location and well-located for the RER, many things wrong with this hotel, which mean I would not recommend nor stay again. In the first place, the room was barefly serviceable. The air conditioner didn't work (28C that day), but when you opened the windows they wouldn't stay open, the lamps were taped together with gaffer tape, the refrigerator didn't work, and the bed had a plastic underlay that made it impossible to sleep at night - you sweat all night wrapped up in this plastic sheet! It could potentially be a nice place, but maintenance and repair need to do a better job.

Regarding the air conditioning, our hotel is currently still operating in heating mode. Unfortunately, the system is centralized and cannot be adjusted individually by room. The switch to cooling mode is activated seasonally once the warmer summer period begins. As weather conditions can vary significantly from one day to another, we understand that some warmer days may feel uncomfortable, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please note that fans are available upon request at reception to help make your stay more comfortable. We also regret the maintenance issues you encountered in your room and have shared your comments with our technical and housekeeping teams so that the necessary checks and improvements can be carried out. Lovely stay, spacious and clean room. Wonderful helpful staff. Would have liked a better view with more sunlight. Breakfast was good but exactly the same every day. Would recommend different types of eggs, more vegetables etc.

Lovely hotel, boutique style, beautiful classy decor, very kind and helpful staff, complimentary coffee and tea (Palais des Thés), water refills available, so no need for buying extra bottled water, private quiet room. Nuxe toiletries. Located near the Seine with the Eiffel Tower view within a few minutes walk. 30-60 minutes walk to the main city attractions. Plenty of nice middle eastern restaurants in the area, several supermarkets. The only things I missed and would have expected at a Mercure hotel were the teaspoons in the room and some toiletries (body lotion). Overall a lovely stay.
