THIS IS A FIRE TRAP! The fire alarm went off at 6 am - there was no power and no emergency lighting. The spiral stairs dumped us in the lobby - if the lobby had been on fire or smoky, we would likely have died. No one at the desk, no information, no firefighters, nothing. The elevators started working and we went back to 8th floor room (still no power) and showered and dressed by cell phone lights. After we returned from our tour, we packed and left. The desk clerk was blaming someone smoking in their room! I filed with travel insurance but am still waiting for a response. The room was nice, but the location is not convenient. The entry is so hard to find, the Uber driver kept coming back to help us look for it - there was NO signage. We had been counting on washing clothes but the dryer wasn’t working - I suspect someone may have used it anyway and triggered the electrical problems.

No signage to indicate hotel location. Roadwork out the front/trams not servicing area. Most staff unhelpful but one young girl (who had just started and was in training) was lovely. Hotel is dated and room was in desperate need of maintenance, with mould all over the place, broken tiles, chipped melamine furniture and fixtures, water damaged timber architraves, noisy doors/broken doors, maintenance staff that never came.

Dear Amelia, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. I am sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments about the challenges you faced with the hotel location and maintenance issues. Our team strives to provide excellent service, and I will make sure your observations are shared with the relevant departments. It is encouraging to hear that one of our team members made a positive impression. We value your input as it helps us improve our services. Best regards, Aparthotel Adagio Paris XV

This has the impression of a hotel that the owner has forgotten. If you are walking or being dropped off it is virtually impossible to find reception. You have to go through a drive towards the car park (the sign on that the only clue the hotel is there). There is nothing on the main road or at the turning into the hotel site. To illustrate: Deliveroo failed to find me 3 times! On arrival there were 4 people sitting behind the reception desk. I walked up to the desk and not one of them moved to help me - it was weird: they just looked up and down again. I spoke with one guy who then answered a phone in front of me. A lady - the only member of staff I met in my 4 days at the place who showed any ability, interest or ability to help guests saw what was happening and came over from her duties in the lounge to check me in. Bizarrely she had to kick someone out of their seat to use the computer. I was upgraded to an apartment. It was spacious but the decor old fashioned. It was also very poorly maintained - especially the bathroom. The bath tub plug did not work/seal so you couldn't use the bath. The basin/sink did not drain and the toilet flush was very ineffective. I reported these (though the guy on reception struggled to understand there was more than one fault) and upon my return to my room late afternoon found none of the issues fixed. I tried phoning reception multiple times and got no reply so went down to find a lady not on the phone and with no guests... She looked up the form on the clipboard and told me the faults had been fixed despite them clearly not having been. The maintenance guy came up to the room with me and saw the bath not fixed and after getting a spare part came back and resolved it but he didn't address the other issues. The stay was completed by being woken early on the final morning by a fire alarm. My advice is not to stay here.

Dear Nick, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Aparthotel Adagio Paris XV. I sincerely regret to hear about the challenges you faced during your stay, particularly regarding the reception process and the maintenance issues in your apartment. I understand how frustrating it can be to navigate the hotel, especially with the reception location. We are continuously working on improving our signage and accessibility to enhance our guests' experiences. I appreciate your feedback regarding the staff interaction; it is essential for us to provide attentive service, and I will ensure your comments are addressed with the team. Regarding the maintenance concerns you reported, I apologize for the inconvenience caused. We strive to maintain our facilities to high standards, and your feedback will be valuable in addressing these areas for improvement. Lastly, I regret the disruption caused by the fire alarm and understand how unsettling that can be. Thank you again for your insights, and I wish you safe travels in the future. Best regards, Aparthotel Adagio Paris XV
