It was no hot water supply in the morning while one day of my stay. Hair dryer is not work. The wallpaper near the entrance almost tear out. Looks like no maintenance or did not inspect before selling the room

The hotel is very nice, and my room was comfortable (with one exception -- detailed below). The staff are uniformly friendly. This includes the check-in staff and also the staff at breakfast. The only negative about my stay is that the sink in the bathroom in my hotel room was apparently plugged as any water in it would drain extremely slowly (i.e., it would take more than 30 minutes). I was at the hotel for six nights, and I reported this problem on three separate days. Each time, the staff at reception told me that a technician would come to my room and fix the problem. I gave permission for the person to enter my room. However, in spite of reporting this problem three times, it was never fixed and the sink remained plugged. I do not understand why this simple plumbing problem was not fixed, especially since I asked on three separate days for it to be fixed. (And on the second and third time I asked, I pointed out that I had asked before and that nothing had been done).

There is no shampoo or cream rinse in the bathroom. There are no washcloths. The soap is almost out in the shower. There are insufficient drawers for clothes and the in room safe is broken. There is water only in two floors and ice on one. One elevator is broken making the time to get to room longer than expected.

The first night I stayed there pairs was 32 degrees. The AC in my room was not working at all. I couldn’t sleep for the whole night. The assistant manager was trying to help luckily everything was sorted. So I had to wait there for a room transfer for 1.5 hours. Otherwise everything was great.

Good evening, on top of the additional mattress, there was a plastic coversheet that was making the bedsheet slide as soon as you climbed on the bed. The bedsheet was too short for the bed. I had to redo the bed which was so poorly made with folds everywhere. I discovered that the mattress underneath was dirty and full of body hair. Disgusting! Best regards. Patrick B.

I'm very glad we picked the Hotel Mercure Paris Vaugirard, as it was conveniently located right across from the Porte de Versailles expo center, where I had a business conference. Also loved the ability to quickly duck into the metro and find a rental bike to explore the city. Lots of good shops and restaurants in the area complement the location. To top it off, the staff were all very friendly and helpful - always welcoming when I returned 'home' to my room.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Limited food choices at the bar, but food tasty. The beds and pillows could be more comfortable, so sleep score low.

It was very cold outside, -3, the heating in the main system did not work well, but when we asked how to fix it, they put a heater in the room and it fixed the problem, excellent. Breakfast was very good, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The main feeling is positive and i would stay again which on my opinion is the most important. The room and the cleaning was very good. The staff was kind and helpful. The only disadvantage was the breakfast which was crowdy and a bit disorganised.

Visiting our daughter who has just moved to Paris to study at the Sorbonne. Hotel is just around the corner from her flat, so well located for our visit, plus it is dog friendly and we had our two dogs with us. Also booked this hotel as they had an underground car park. Unfortunately on arrival we couldn’t use it as there was a problem with the car lift. We had to park about 100m away in the Exhibition Centre. No real issue apart from the rain! Hotel refunded the parking we had already paid. Room was large and clean, with a great shower. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. A very good stay but worth checking if the car lift works before you book, if this is one of your reasons, staying there!

was not able to sleep all three nights because temp in the room was at 29deg and airco was not working - I was given an accessible room without asking for it, I needed to change my room - room was ok cleanlinesswise but the corners in the bathroom had stains from soapscum and spots of watermarks - definitely bot 4 star quality room

Regarding the temperature in your room, we understand your discomfort. However, French regulations (Article R.241-30 of the Energy Code) prohibit the use of air conditioning when the indoor temperature does not exceed 26°C. At the end of October, the outside temperatures were well below this threshold, which meant we were not allowed to activate the cooling system. Concerning the accessible room, these rooms are often allocated as they are more spacious and usually very much appreciated by our guests. We regret that it did not suit your preferences on this occasion. Please rest assured that we have taken note of your comments regarding bathroom cleanliness and will share them with our housekeeping team to ensure improvements are made.
