Despite Covid restrictions, I had an excellent stay at Hotel Mercure and I was litterally pampered by the whole staff who was very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Gloria and Sevin for their professionalism. The breakfast was brought to my room and was fabulous!

Horror weekend

The check-in and room was OK, outside of that the stay was a nightmare. A fire alarm early Saturday morning scared us dead and nobody cared to explain what happened. During checkout on Sunday, I learnt from the receptionist that the lift was out of order, it took 5 hours to finally repair it. What is even worst, was the absence of any forms of coordination, the manager of this hotel should be fired, for leaving his/her subordinates behind without any incident protocol. The employees on location did well, to the best of their ability but the manager gets a complete no no from me. I was promised a formal letter of apology and a refund of my stay but going by my experience, I don't believe it will happen.

Dear Mr O., I really wish to thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at my property and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced while you stayed with us. Being the General Manager of this hotel I always respond personally to my clients and always feel sorry when the experience is not matching our ambitions. First I would like to highlight that my property is very well-known for its level of services, the kindness of the staff and the professional way the clients are welcomed. I will therefore explain what happened in the night of Saturday the 15th of August and I'm sure it will clarify the situation: Just before midnight a global electricity cut occurred in the full 15th district of Paris where the hotel is located. Obviously this has unfortunately nothing to do with my hotel or the way I manage it and my teams. After this global cut, the Parisian electricity network came back but for some reasons that are fully beyond of our control, the elevators didn’t start again and the fire alarm broke out without any possibility for us to stop it. All our equipment and especially anything that has to do with the security of my clients and my employees is my very first priority. Everything is controlled on a daily basis by my teams and guaranteed by the control offices of course. Unfortunately on a Sunday morning and a Bank Holiday on the top it nobody from the District will answer. Me and my teams had to deal with this emergency alone and it unfortunately took us a few hours to finally get somebody to fix the issue which was again completely beyond of our control. Again I really feel very sorry for you. We did our best but it was obviously not enough. For your perfect information my teams as well as me, are trained to deal with many types of exceptional situations. I’ve been working for the Group Accor for nearly 30 years and I’ve dealt with terrible situations. There is no magic way to deal with something that is not our direct responsibility. My goal is always to do my best to make my clients happy. Sometimes the outside circumstances are stronger than you. Finally I would recommend that you ask my bosses and my teams if I’m worthy my job or not. I doubt you are able to say as we never met. I guess I would have known being a disservice to my Group for years. I am an honest and respectful person. I would have appreciated you didn’t disrespect me. Very good stay. We have stayed in bigger rooms elsewhere, but this is Paris. Breakfast was up to Mercure standards. A special mention for the receptionists and the barman who were very professional and friendly.

I booked this hotel as it has a secure underground car park but when I arrived I was told the car park lift was broken so I had to make my own arrangements for parking.

However I have to truly apologize for the inconvenience caused by the broken car park. We unfortunately encountered a massive technical issue which was not able to be fixed by our lift company. A full piece of the car elevator had to be changed and wasn’t available for a week We obviously all regret the time it took to return to a normal situation but we couldn’t take any risk to have it back to function not being 100% sure it would be fine. prices of 400€ and more for 1 night is a rip-off my car was forced to stay I nthe parking for 1 week because the elevator did not work properly

I was charged for breakfast I did not take. I received no lotion or conditioner. The front desk was always too busy to talk to me. They would not order a taxi at 6:30 Monday morning. The room was so hot even with the heat turned off.

Another hotel at extremely High price compared what was delivered. When you check in and find you have to ask for extra shampoo the second day at a 280 euro / night hotel - i am surprised. This was same story every day. One would expect that to happend aomatically. There are also very big difference in the recognition of guest. This should be the same No matter where in World you travel

Fantastic Hotel, clean room and bathroom, spacious and perfectly located. Access to Metro and Exhibition areas in 2 minutes walk. Definitely coming back. I would most definitely recommend the facility to all people traveling to Paris on Business but leisure as well.

just opposite the entrance of the porte de versailles exhibition center in Paris. This is a very convienient hotel. It is very modern and has a good breakfast. my room also had a Nespresso machine. I was able to open the window which is unusual in a city hotel. When they were closed I did not hear the traffic outside

Was here for family-related activities, and this hotel is conveniently located right in our neighborhood - Metro and Tramway to wherever needed. Not too many interesting restaurants in the vicinity, but served their purpose. Service was excellent: Ahmed was able to accommodate early check-in after much coordination w housekeeping staff. Wifi on this stay misbehaved big time, and Benoit intervened with assistance multiple times. Taxi was promptly reserved, the pick-up time modified as requested. Et voila! What not to like?

We had a very nice stay (2 nights). The hotel is conveniently located at a metro and tram station. The staff was very kind and helpful. The only problem during our stay was a bad drain of a sink, but that was solved after mentioning it to the reception.
