I used to love IBIS, I ALWAYS ask for a quiet room, at the end of the floor and to the back side, not to a bussy street. I told that to Max at the reception and he did not respect my wish. He said no problem because of the Coronavirus the hotel has enough vacant rooms, BUT he gave me a room to the bussy street at the front and in the middle with a VERY noisy neighbour. I am terrible dissatisfied and IBIS is far away of me desire for next time. I did not sleep any night

Well located, very near to the bus station

It was okay for the price, but i hope you can provide a hand soap at the sink. We try to adjust the temperature of the room to be cool, but it seems that it is not functioning and it was quite hot at night.

Nice family room we stayed with the clean toilet. Good location and breakfast. Accessible by walking from train station. Good stay. One problem was the room heater is not working so well.

Excellent location as the bus stop is just right around the corner. Accessibility is a big plus! The receptionist gave us an overview of places to go to and a tourist pass for free transports around Lucerne and 20% in tickets. Glad to have stayed here!

Towels were replaced with a dirty set which was upsetting. Bathroom is small which was expected based on the photos but gets flooded too easily while bathing. Not an enjoyable experience to have flooded waters out of the bathroom!

Tiny homes - not a fairy tail...

In comparison to all 5 stays, this is by far the tiniest room at an Ibis what I had so far! Incredible that you guys fit 3 full size beds in it!

The bed mattress is hard enough. The room is really cold, I got a cold. I once bashed my head in the top bad. With breakfast there is little choice, no vegetables, food is not of good quality. Otherwise it would be great if the breakfast time already starts at 6 am. There is no socket next to the bed. The staff is nice.

Room is sooooooooooo small

The room was so extremely small it can barely fit two people. No space to turn around and definitely no space for a mini fridge. The no fridge is also annoying. Sound proofing is absolutely the worst. Or cleaning crew super loud. Our sleep was disturb every single morning we were there. The hotel is very money pinching. It charges me every single thing. Word of advice, DO NOT use common area as all, because even sitting down to eat your own food would trigger a cost. How unjustly consider how suffocating the rooms are. The stay definitely lowered the overall experience of the city Lucerne and the country Switzerland. Dog stay has extra fee for every night, which is less dog friendly than other cities and countries around. This policy show be re-evaluated. But considered how everything else is inconsiderate and money pinching I highly doubt changes can be for the better. My recommendation would be to go for something else, especially someone who’s on a tight budget.

We'd like to inform you that a room occupied by a pet needs to be cleaned deeply after a guest's departure, this is the reason why an extra charge applies. In this specific case we had to put the room out of service for 2 days in order to refresh the air. Concerning food brought from outside, let me assure you that there are not many hotels which sell food who accept guests bringing their own food from the supermarket. Here at IBIS budget Luzern it is possible and it's free of charge! We only request our guests to buy something from our food corner (a drink, a chocolate, a coffee..).
