While exploring the city we decided to stay here for a night since we were family of 5 books 2 rooms. They given us different floors kids were away from us despite requesting for close by if not connected. The rooms are extremely small not really a place for family can't even put it in your luggage specifically if you are coming from another country you will have per person a travel bag which will not be easy to put in the room and move around. The parking on the property is the most expensive one. The most annoying part was the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful

The hotel embodies the concept of "budget" in the most literal sense. While it is clean and well-maintained, it falls short of the quality and comfort typically associated with the Ibis brand. I understand that Lucerne is a tourist-heavy and expensive destination; however, some of the shortcomings are basic and difficult to overlook: *No hooks or racks for clothes or towels in the bathroom *Absence of tissue boxes in the room *Lack of a proper chair for seating *Limited space for hanging clothes *Repetitive and uninspired breakfast options *Extremely small lobby with minimal seating, making it far from a relaxing space My wife and I found our four-night stay quite challenging due to these limitations. Unfortunately, our experience was not unique—our son and daughter, who stayed in an adjacent room, shared similar concerns. Overall, the hotel feels more suited for short, single-night stays and seems primarily designed for solo travelers in transit.

Overall a good experience at Ibis Lucerne. Ideal for a short stay at a reasonable cost compared with the bulk of hotels around the city. Lift available, friendly reception staff and a good bed and shower. Room for improvement - maintenance, as my room door lock was broken and could not be locked from the inside ( 2 men came round with a hammer, but no resolution). Would be better to have kettles in the room rather than carrying hot water up to 4th floor via lift or stairs.

We spent four nights at this hotel. All hotels in Lucerne are very expensive, so I felt that this Ibis was very overpriced for what it is, compared to Ibis hotels in other cities. However, for Lucerne, it was at the cheaper end. The location is good - only about 15 minutes' walk from the main station. The parking situation is challenging - the on-site parking is very limited. We couldn't get a space on the day we arrived, and had to park on the street and get up early to move the car before parking restrictions started for the day. Room was standard for this type of hotel - a double bed with a bunk bed over the top. There was a curtain to divide the main part of the room from the sink and shower. As a couple, we felt the room was big enough but if you had children as well it might feel a bit cramped. We at breakfast at the hotel for a couple of the days. There weren't many other options for breakfast in the vicinity, and due to the expensive nature of Lucerne, the breakfast offered value for money. It was kept well stoked up for the most par, although we did have to wait quite a long time for eggs one morning. I would consider staying here again if I ever go back to Lucerne.

I had a wonderful experience. The front office staff were amazing and incredibly friendly, accommodating all my requirements with a smile. The breakfast was very good, though I would have loved to see fried eggs offered in addition to the boiled ones. My room was clean and exactly as booked, and the housekeeping staff were very nice and helpful. Overall, a great stay! It is sad to find out that the hotel is part of the ALL loyalty program.
