The lovation is near to train station and also reachable by bus..the hotel provide free pass to be used in local transportation..room is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful

Overall the experience was good but we when we booked we didn’t informed anything about city tax that needs to be paid so at the moment of vacating they mentioned about city tax that needs to be paid where we became hesitant apart from that all goes good. Check before booking in case of any additional charges that is applicable.

Hotel is new, basic and modern. The rooms are clean and compact but have all the necessary amenities. Might be tight if you're overpackers, but our 2 carryons fit under the shelf/counter under the TV. The kids liked the bunkbed and the lighting options were a nice touch. Hotel wasn't noisy while we were there. Shower, toilet and sink are all separate so can be used at the same time, though would be awkward if not family. Only a 12 minute walk to central Luzern or train station, excellent price per meter tradeoff. Small snafu at check in was quickly and efficiently corrected. Overall not a hotel I'm dying to go back to, but if I'm ever in Luzern again I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Approached reception on my internet issue. Was asked to wait bcos he was busy in the midst of some admin work. There’s no bum gun to wash backside. Toilets are separated. Only couple can stay. Asked for extra pillows, he went to dig out one asked fr one more bcos there a 2 ppl he replied unfortunately don’t hv. Swiss ppl are very cold n not friendly generally compared to other countries. Maybe that’s how it is I don’t know. Fellow tourist European we’re much more helpful in fact. We spent a lot of money to visit your country take note.

I was at the reception during your stay so I think I can give a proper answer to your points. a) Situations that caused frustration You mentioned several issues that understandably affected your comfort: - Wi‑Fi problems and the feeling of not being assisted immediately at reception: Regarding this point we have to say that we where having only Wi-fi problems with some clients coming from Asia-Pacific regions due to their Phone system and the use of apps like VPNs or DNS modifying connection. None of the other guest had any problem with the Wi-Fi during the last couple of weeks. This has been already explained at the reception and is not a situation that the hotel can solve as the problem comes internally from your device. Even we re-started the Wi-fi router in front of you. Afterwards the Internet continued to run really fine. - Even during administrative tasks, our team should acknowledge the guest’s urgency and offer support as soon as possible, but you have to understand that the assistance can not be provided instantly when there's only one person at the reception and/or there are more guest waiting. For example, if the only/alone receptionist is attending the phone or integrating another guest's booking in the computer, you'll have to wait the line. - Separated toilet and shower, which is part of the Ibis Budget room concept: In any case, the room size and layout are showed before you make the booking. If your booking platform / agency didn't showed you the characteristics of the hotel, please feel free to contact them and request a change. All the main portals like Booking.com / Expedia.com / Agoda.com and other diverse platforms show the room space and distribution. - Limited availability of extra pillows: Extra amenities are provided under availability. If at any given moment the reception doesn't have more forks, knifes, duvets, hot-water form the boiler, pillows and/or other type of non-included free extra materials, we're not in the obligation of provide them. - Your perception of coldness from staff and locals: Our hotel is well known for the customer service, being the highest metric actually around all the reviews we receive, but in any case we'll strive to improve. b) What we can and we'll improve: - Ensuring faster, more attentive support at reception. - Reviewing inventory of extra items like pillows to avoid disappointing guests. Many guests appreciate our central location, the public transport pass included, the 24/7 reception, and the cleanliness and comfort of the beds.
