I am a long time user of IBIS and a fan of its value for money hotels. However given its name of "Styles" i was expecting something interesting and innovative. Instead this feels like a warmed-over old hotel with nothing particular to recommend it.

Easily found but no parking. The personnel were friendly. The only thing that I'm not satisfied is the sofa bed. We sensed the springs of the sofa bed.

Centrally located , easy 10 min walk to train station,cafes and restaurants.. Great breakfast which included both hot and cold items.Room size was good enough for 2 guests .. Only issue I noticed was the Ac cooling was not great.

+ Excellent Service + Very Friendly and Helpful Staff - Rooms need refurbishing especially the walls and flooring and really dirty - AC was not working one night which caused some discomfort

Checkin was fine, room was a little shabby and not the upgrade we hoped for as gold members which was surprising as the hotel did not seem busy. The shower bracket was not strong enough to hold the shower head when turned on so had to hold it. The breakfast was fine.

Well located but old rooms

We spent 1 night there. Asked for a higher floor and was given a room on the 4th floor with a bad smell a lot of broken tiles in the bathroom. Room was changed for us but still expected better from ibis. I have previously stayed at ibis hotels but this one is definitely the worst :(

Family of 4 on holiday. Breakfast was great. Kids would have preferred a non pull out bed.

Run-down hotel in need of renovation

Large enough rooms, old furniture, run-down bathrooms. Staff was friendly. Reception space is un-welcoming - small and badly decorated. Room lights (as all IBIS hotels we visited) are energy-saving discharge tube lights; this is the most ugly light source I know. It gives a totally dark, unwelcoming light so that you have absolutely no desire to even enter the room. And it's so easy to fix: install LED lights, for a much brighter light and a welcoming atmosphere!

Great and affordable place in Lucerne

Great place and comfortable! The price is also affordable compare to other big hotels in Lucerne. The only problem is only the shower water temperature is not consistent, sometimes it become very very hot.

Nothing special about the hotel, as mentioned by many others before, it is a bit dated. But it worked just fine for us, friendly and helpful staff and everything worked. The location of the hotel is very good and most attractions are within easy walking distance. We will stay at the Ibis Styles again.

Run down and dusty

I booked for 3 nights in this hotel but ended up only stayed for one night. Moved to another hotel as I felt this hotel is very run down and not as shown in the photos. Amenity is too basic. No extra pillows. Felt the balcony is insecure as anyone can come over and the room is not soundproof. It is also a bit far from train station. Have some variety of breakfast but the taste is just average.
