Stayed one night on business. Comfortable night and friendly staff. Only downside was the decor that looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years. Have experienced better for the price.

The reception was friendly, the room was satisfactory. Had good breakfasts in the morning with everything you would need. I would gladly recommend this hotel for short stays. I would have liked to have a whole figure mirror in the room. Also wasn't able to have a bath as the stopper was missing. Would and will stay again next time I visit my daughter.

Great location walking distance to old town, shopping centre and bus stop. Good space in the family room. Breakfast included which has good variety and my family enjoyed it very much !

Nothing special about the hotel, as mentioned by many others before, it is a bit dated. But it worked just fine for us, friendly and helpful staff and everything worked. The location of the hotel is very good and most attractions are within easy walking distance. We will stay at the Ibis Styles again.

We love the cosy room. The bathroom size is decent and we love the breakfast. We do appreciate that the hotel gave us transportation card for sightseeing and boat ride around Luzern.

Excellent hotel in almost every way. However, the spare bed in the family room has a mattress where you can feel every spring. Very uncomfortable

I arrived in Luzern and caught the number 1 bus from just outside the railway station from stand B. You go to Lowenplatz stop (3rd stop) It is also the same place you need to get off for the Lion monument. Anyway way back slightly passed the library and you will see the Ibis Styles sign. Takes about 1 minute from the bus stop. Check in was quick and easy. I was also given a free Luzern Zone 10 public transport ticket for my stay. A great start. Onto the room. It was unfortunately 2 single beds and not a double bed but as I was on my own, that was not a problem. The room could have done with a carpet though instead of a laminate floor. The bathroom was large and had all the amenities expected. Due to it being an Ibis Styles, breakfast was also included. The usual cold breakfast items on offer together with eggs, small anemic sausages and bacon. So bacon sandwiches on offer. Now if only baked beans were on offer breakfast would have been so good. All in all a decent place to stay.

Clean room except the water surprisingly came out black despite Switzerland's tap water is known can be used as drinking water!

The hotel is in need of renovation, the room was not an Ibis experience. Very old decor, definitely not what I expected after a long day at work. Breakfast was OK. Paint was stripped off the walls in the corridors, the bed was ancient and the room extremely old. Not an Ibis experience.

The hotel staff has absolutely no power to change policy of the hotel. The hotel advertises outside on the street that its bar is open in the evening from 6pm. However, the bar is never open, except to provide the welcome drink to Elite Members. All of the power cables were removed from the power sockets upon entering the room. No explanation. The General Manager was never present and apparently doesn't care about the quality of service provided at the hotel. The staff were wonderful and powerless.

Please allow me to express my sincerest apologies and respond to your comments: Bar: You are right, that it's written outside that the bar should be open. It could be that the access to the bar was closed on that day, but our reception team will serve you with pleasure if requested. Power Cables: It is a security standard to remove the power sockets except TV & Telephone. I will of course check this issue again. Concerning your last point about myself, that I've never been in the hotel is also correct. As you may know, that we are workers and human, we can have some holidays, can be sick or can have also urgent matters. I was in holiday during these days, but my Assistant and Front Office Manager who are representing me were on Duty to your service. As I can also remember, we talked to each other by phone. We were in room 603 so you can go check, the pillows were very old and felt full of bumps, could not sleep all 3 nights, and the bathtub has mould all around the bottom (black mould) so it felt not very clean.

I booked for 3 nights in this hotel but ended up only stayed for one night. Moved to another hotel as I felt this hotel is very run down and not as shown in the photos. Amenity is too basic. No extra pillows. Felt the balcony is insecure as anyone can come over and the room is not soundproof. It is also a bit far from train station. Have some variety of breakfast but the taste is just average.

We were very pleased with our stay. The location of the hotel was great - very close to lots of shopping, bus stops, train station, bridges, restaurants, etc. We walked with our luggage from the train station to the hotel with no issues. The hotel itself is very clean and the front desk people are very friendly and helpful (and speak English). The room was clean and the beds comfortable (although the mattresses are a bit firm). The bathroom was very modern, spacious and clean. Our room had a separate bedroom and a living area with a double "sofa bed" - more like a bed than a sofa. Also, an extra sink in the living area. Also had a nice balcony. The breakfast was very good; the same each day but food was fresh and tasty with lots of variety. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
