We had the most fantastic time at the IBIS Hotel! The room was absolutely stunning, and it had everything we could possibly need - a fridge, kettle, coffee, and tea. The bed was so comfy, and we were treated to an amazing view of the mountains. It was an unforgettable experience!

Its Best 'ibis budget" hotel for me so far. Its bigger than usual, comfy than usual budget hotel. İbis, Clean always. This hotel has Good Mountain view. Staff is always kind and helpful. Hotel gives local travel pass. You can take no21 as small lake view.

Parking frustrating and inadequate

Hotel facilities were fine but the parking was not. We can get 3 motorbikes into a single space but we had to pay for all three - 14euros each! This is due to the carpark not being owned by the hotel. Other bikers we spoke to in the carpark the next day only paid 12€. Anyone who visits the shopping centre can access the carpark so it's basically a very expensive public carpark that you could, actually use without paying if you have a motorbike because you can easily ride past the barrier.

I picked this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and its proximity to the train station Kriens Mattenhof which is at 10 minutes walking distance. It is just a stop away from Luzern. The hotel was neat, safe for a solo female traveller. Good wi-fi connection. They will charge something called the city tax when you check in. They gave me a local travel card which was valid on local transport. I visited Mount Pilatus from here which is not very far off. Just take a bus, not the train if you wish to visit Mount Pilatus while at Kriens. I made this mistake and wasted an hour waiting for the next bus. The hotel breakfast spread is good, not too much variety, but filling. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. I wrote to them before traveling there to know the best way to get there and I received prompt response on email. The room has a portable fan which was really helpful during summer time. There are a good number of budget food options around like McDonalds, Subway, Migros supermarket, etc. Overall, good experience. Will definitely recommend it.
