No air conditioning No phone No water Broken hairdryer Mould and dirt on the walls in bathroom Loose toilet seat and loo roll holder Broken mouldy window in shower area Only one window that opened a very small amount 18 steps from 2nd to 3rd floor and no lift, you didn’t ask about mobility issues or offer any help with the suitcase. I did you the courtesy of discussing it at reception simply asking for the bathroom to be cleaned etc but nothing happened. I had to request water and a replacement hairdryer a second time.

Following your comments, our maintenance team attended the room on two separate occasions and confirmed that the hairdryer was functioning correctly at the time of inspection. In addition, the bathroom received an additional clean in accordance with your request. However, I am very sorry that this did not fully resolve your concerns during your visit. We would also like to kindly share that the hotel is due to undergo a full refurbishment, which will significantly enhance both the comfort and overall condition of the property. The staff were friendly and the general atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant (there was a nice scent of eau de cologne which was very refreshing) our room would have been very comfortable ( comfortable bed) but because there was a heatwave and the windows didn’t open, there was no air conditioning and just an inadequate fan, we were unable to sleep. I appreciate the heat was unprecedented but with rising global temperatures maybe this needs to be addressed. The breakfast was good with a good choice of food. Despite my criticism of the room I would definitely stay here again.

Reception had Henry on duty when I arrived his accommodating of 3 very different clients was very good. On day of my departure Danny was most accommodating when i left and then returned to retreve a shopping bag from the room I had vacated.
