Overall stay was good. Room and breakfast was also good. Reception was very friendly and quickly provided all necessary information and room key. What I did not like is that although I would have been able to cancel the room until day of arrival, 3 days before that the room rate was reserved on my credit card. On arrival 100SGD were locked on my card and upon departure I of course paied. So three transactions. As the rate is guaranteed anyway by my card, normally I can decide for a deposit or paying the full amount upon arrival. That was unnecessary effort on all ends in my eyes.

The hotel has a good location and is easy to get around the nearby areas. The hotel is clean and the staff and professional, friendly and helpful. The room was always clean. The lift is undergoing maintenance and there was often a long wait to be able to get in the lift. There are also stairs.

I was very pleased with everything and everyone. I wish I knew who checked me in because she deserves praise. In addition, Vadi (I think that’s his name) on the housekeeping staff (serving room 929) was also great and very helpful.
