I loved that we had a big room and at first glance it was very well laid out until we actually used the room. The toilet is in room separate from the shower and far from a sink. After you use the toilet you need to walk across the whole room just to wash your hands. The coffee maker is the drip brew type which isn’t so bad but I’ve stayed in Aparthotels with less stars and they all have Nespresso type machines. The towels were thin and worn and you need to pay for any extra towels. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and we didn’t get the warm welcome we got from our previous hotels. Our room was facing the street that was under repair. You can imagine the noise. The bed and pillows were very very comfortable. We slept very well until the drilling began. For the location I would stay here again.

Super staff at reception who made time to highlight upcoming events and suggest attractions we had not been aware of. Apartment was very clean and equipped to allow for preparation of light meals. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a very impressive supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The airport bus (Line 1) stops 50 yards from the entrance.

Very well located apartment block, short walk to the best of Bordeaux (cathedral, etc.). Car parking underneath, need to phone reception for a code (2 nights, 36 euros). Apartment itself was clean but dated, my wife commented on the old fashioned hair dryer :) Once checked-in and paid up front for our stay, was then told we would not have any electricity from 1pm-5pm on our only full day! Not even the lifts would be working. We found this disappointing although we'd be out all day anyway, it was just that this was to be accepted by us as normal?
