I stayed at this hotel for a trip to Bordeaux for a Champions Cup Rugby game. I have previously provided a glowing but unfortunately marked the response down rather than maximum. My mistake and I can say I couldn’t fault our experience. Staff, accommodation, location were all that we could have hoped for. Breakfast was excellent, just what we hoped for. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is well located on the outskirts of Bordeaux city and we could walk to the main areas within 25 minutes from the hotel. While the rooms were basic and the hotel rather dated, it was the staff, especially people like Margot who helped make the stay pleasant. Road construction outside the main entrance of the hotel during our stay made pick up and drop off troublesome, so do get an update from the hotel on the status of these road works to plan your transport ahead of time.

All very good except for the continued road/sidewalk construction in front; so very limited space to unload luggage. This is beyond your control, to be sure! And it hasn't kept us from coming back the last several years. Maybe next year it will be done.....
