Terrace closed, room a bit small and outdated, carpet worn out. Bar closed at 22:00. Good beds, good food. Friendly staff.

Not the best to access by car, the parking spots in front of the hotel are reserved for the fitness center. Nice and modern room. Very quiet. Good location. We would have preferred to have a bathtub and a bigger bed

Bad location and ridiculous parking facility

Car park is not marked at all for customers to find. Also there was no way in hell we could get our car in there due to how tight it was. The room was very small and hardly modern as in other novotels I've stay at. I paid over the top for this one night stay and I'm not happy to pay again. I would appreciate a partial refund on this as it caused me and young family difficulties finding car park which we did not use and stressed us out due to the long drive we had from London. I had to park my car in front of hotel which could have been damaged by public due to the make and model of vehicle. I will not stay there again. Staff were kind and helpful.

Good accommodation and helpful staff. Limited choices at breakfast. However over running building work meant no bar and very limited lounge seating.

stay was ok. However when I book a room with a certain price, I am expecting something good. The lobby and the entrance of the hotel are totally chaotic. And no indication of course of that when I booked mine.

It would have been nice to have known that the hotel was a building site. Arrived in heavy rain and had to walk down steps to get a lift up to reception. The walkway was subsequently opened for easier access. Staff were efficient and friendly and the room was fine. Restaurant and bar were being refurbished so there was only a small area to sit in. The hotel certainly didn’t look like the photos on the website!

Incredibly disappointing. Booked to stay for my partner’s 40th birthday. Specifically picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and room service and we have two young children so this was very important. However, when we arrived we discovered that the hotel is a building site, the lobby is covered in scaffolding, dust and plastic and the restaurant closed except for breakfast. Our bedroom was small but adequate, however it was incredibly hot and was impossible to cool it down as there was no aircon, and we couldn’t keep the window open as it’s opposite a fire station and on a busy road. Spoilt an important weekend, very disappointing. The staff were however very friendly and helpful.

I don't think I'll come back; - started with a very long check-in (two people involved!) - no welcome drink as platinum member - the whole reception area was a mess because of re-work (I can understand that part but you could also mention it on the web site so that when booking clients are informed) - room keys didn't work 3 times during my stay (1 day only) - breakfast room was packed , very unpleasant experience - my minibar was empty

At the time of booking, I asked for a room with a view. On the contrary, we were alloted a room on the first floor with a back street view. At the time of booking, no information was given that some refurbishment work was going on. When we checked in, we could hear the construction / refurbishment noise in our rooms. Despite many pleas to change the room, I was always told that this is the only room that they have. I am sorry to say I was not happy at all. I regret the booking.

Comfortable hotel. Had building works going on which was annoying. Breakfast awful. Did not cater for English at breakfast very well. Had to buy own tea bags and milk. Other hotels were closer to town centre.

As the hotel is under major renovation, the hotel experience that is left is very low (i would say it is limited to the the hotel room). No lobby, no proper reception desk, no good cafe for breakfast... strange that the responsible did not think about "softening" the experience. I felt like I was renting airBnB- from the street to the room, with no experience at all. I must admit that I also left one night before as nothing kept me in the hotel.

As usual the room was good, but if I had known that the reception area, breakfast room and restaurant were under refurbishment, then i would have broke another Accor hotel in Bordeaux for my stay. I was pleased that I used some of my reward points for the booking, otherwise it would not have been value for money this time.

The room was very comfortable and the location great. We were disappointed that the recption & bar area were under renovation. This meant that there was nowhere nice for us to relax with our friends for a drink in the evenings. This was not advised to us at the time of booking.

Once I realised the hotel was under construction I tried to cancel the booking but I was not allowed. The restaurant bar area was awful and the breakfast was equally bad. There was no hot water in the big burner, no scrambled eggs left and I had to ask for them. The lady who checked us in was quite unhelpful when I asked about the carpark. I was surprised that the hotel did not have a special rate with them.

Don't have instruction how to park upon arrival at front door was a problem for us as lobby is at 2nd floor. Front desk service is helpful but small area is full with people. The room is great and we love the stay! We purchased two breakfasts but the coffee machine was broken. The hot dishes (ex. bacon, string bean...) at breakfast was good the first day but the second day was the leftover from the first day, it wasn't fresh...
