It was almost as expected for Novotel. Extremely clean and comfortable so a plus for the maintenance team. Also staff was very helpful every time we needed them Only thing that disappointed us was no minifridge in the room as well as no slippers (really unexpected)!

Such a pleasant girl at check in, we were too early, but not a problem , we were offered the use of a room to change our clothes and our bags were stored till 3 o clock!! Much appreciated!

Not recommended at all to be part of Accord Hotel is very deceiving. Keep following up 3 days for shampoo and hand soap not filled it up (I bought my own at the end without any action). Parking facility next door but not part or no special price for hotel resident. No pool available. Staff are not helpfull. When they make fan of customer at least have a decency of ensuring that the customer left completely. No arrangement to move in another Novotel chain somewhere else due to the situation, so we were lock there. I learn to never book Novotel again

We indeed do not have a pool and no special prices with the parking but you can find all these indications on our website. About the situation of moving you to another Novotel, it is right that even if we belong to same chain, we can not just transfer you to another like this, since head offices and policies can be different from a hotel to another. We loved staying at the Novotel two years ago and was looking forward to our stay there again. We were meeting friends in Bordeaux and asked them to stay also. Firstly they were given a 6th floor room, we were put in 2nd floor room. They had a fridge which we didn’t also they had coffee machine where we did not .Our hair dryer stopped working after first day and I had to request a replacement. Also we had no shower gel on arrival as it was empty I know it can happen but if it had been checked properly it would have been discovered. They paid less than us and we booked direct with hotel they booked with bookings.com. We were given welcome pack with two sugars and some flavoured tea, they were not even replenished on a daily basis. On day of arrival we had one new toilet roll in toilet with an almost fully used roll, not a good welcome. We will come back but these mishaps need to be addressed.

Reception staff were lively and very helpful. Although we did not receive our wakeup call. The cleaning staff for our room were not efficient as we were continually having to ask reception for towels soap etc. Room not vacuumed well as alot of pet hair in the carpet. Breakfast was inadequate for a 4star hotel. I would rate this hotel a 3star not a 4 star as advertised. Would not recommed your hotel and would not stay here again.

Disappointing experience. I have used Accor hotels when travelling for many years but it seems that the rooms have flown smaller and the amenities fewer. The location of this hotel was great but the lack of face towels, the small poorly decorated rooms, and the lack of other amenities like water in the refrigerator, cream for the coffee. Remember it is the small things that count when travelling. Also, the wifi kept cutting out , making it impossible to do any business activity in the room.

Having found no rooms available in 10 city centre hotels in Bordeaux I was mightily relieved to hear from the receptionist at the nearby Mercure that this hotel had a room. When I booked in it was 01h30 so I narrowly avoided having to spend the night on the streets. Unfortunately I only spent 4 hours in my room so couldn't really appreciate all of the facilities.
