We had 3 adults in our room and the pull out bed did not have a blanket/duvet. I called the front desk and within minutes someone had brought us a duvet. This happened late at night and I was amazed at how quickly they responded.

The location is not great being a 10 to 15 minutes' walk to where all the action in Bordeaux is although good for trams and a big supermarket nearby. The 2 main issues were that, for my 3 night's stay, I had to complain on both days at 6pm or later that my room had not been serviced, despite the room being free for the entire day from about 9am. Not disastrous but annoying just the same. The 2nd issue was that the breakfast experience was poor. Very crowded, food often not replenished and not a particularly good selection to choose from. It felt like a college canteen rather than a good quality hotel. One last issue was that, when I arrived, the fridge wasn't working. It was fixed quickly but why couldn't they check these things before checking a guest into the room? So, all in all, not a terrible stay but a little underwhelming.
