Pleasure trip. Pre-cruise stay for 3 nights. One complaint is the lack of a grab bar beside the toilet. Another is that the tub is steeply sloped and rather high to step into and out of. An additional grab bar would help there as well.

We just visited here and can't understand some of the negative reviews. We had a room (918) on the 9th floor and every staff member off staff (especially Anthony who checked us in) was accommodating, friendly, and professional, From the moment we checked in everything was great. There is a retro cool feel to the rooms and it was great to have a fridge and espresso machine! We even used room service for pizza and it was good. Yea, it's up a funny side street, however, it's close to the old town and within a 10 minute or so walk from everything. We would have no qualms about staying here next time we are in Bordeaux. We had a great experience here.
