Well located in Bordeaux downtown, but due to this location, you are exposed to the noise coming from the street at night. Food is excellent , especially pizzas, service is excellent. rooms are average, no coffe machine in the room, only a poor old style microwave.

Good location & busy bar /restaurant area (good food) although difficult to find initially Rooms small (although booked med) no coffee/tea in room which would be great

Regarding the room size, our Medium rooms are indeed more compact, as indicated at the time of booking. A different type of Accor hotel, I liked it. We had dinner which was also very good. Unfortunately, I asked for a late checkout as both my partner and I were feeling under the weather. We were told there was already 15 other customers who had asked for a late checkout, so they said it was not possible. I guess my question is, were the other 15 customers also gold members?

Please allow us to clarify the situation: the guests who were granted a late check-out had already booked and paid for this option at the time of their reservation. As the number of late check-outs is limited each day to ensure availability for incoming guests, we unfortunately were not able to extend additional late check-outs beyond those pre-booked. While Accor Gold status does provide certain benefits, late check-out is subject to availability, and priority is given to guests who have secured this option in advance. Loved staying at this hotel. We had a great time. The design was really quirky and fun. The restaurant and bars were really cool places to hang out at night- especially when there were DJ sets etc on. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect- very central and right next to a supermarket. And the room we had was comfortable and gave us everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if in Bordeaux or in any other city with a Mama Shelter hotel.

The bed and bedding is good. There were two problems in our room 402. The sewage smell was horrible, which came up occassionally. Also flow away from the sink was very poor indeed. The second problem is the shower head. Obviously it’s blocked with calcaire, and not working properly. My husband decided not to shower, so bad. The location of the hotel is great and generally atmosphere and staff very nice. I had already booked an other room for 3.-4. December. I wish you could make sure that we don’t experience the same problem there. Merci. Anitta F.
