I am very satisfied with my stay in Ibis hotel. I most certainly would recommend it. The room was clean and it was warm in it. Breakfast was varied and food was tasty.

Located very close to tram route into heart of city and also the bus stop from the airport. Very good accommodation , clean and comfortable as you would expect from Accor. Usual selection of cereal, yoghurt ,fruit , breads/pastries and cooked items for breakfast, although a shortage of staff and v full hotel meant there was some waiting for items to be replenished. Although the sign outside the Hotel indicated that breakfast was served from 04.00-12.00, each day it stopped some time before 9.50 am on Monday , as I tried to gain access for breakfast then but a member of staff politely informed me " breakfast had finished and I was too late as other staff were now preparing the tables for lunch". We ate at the restaurant on the Saturday night and there was a good range of items. I asked for coffee at the end of the meal and was brought a hot chocolate. I pointed this out to the waitress who came back with another cup ..... of hot chocolate !. She said that it was coffee as the machine had dispensed it. A similar instance had occurred earlier in the day and we think what happened was someone had misfilled the machine but no staff were prepared to admit this or rectify the error. A shame as our usual experience of Accor staff is that they are v helpful. The reception staff were v good especially Cymbeline who resolved various queries on our bill as the restaurant had not fully accounted for certain items.

Everything was satisfactory ..... BUT, (room 602) one of the bathroom lights was not working and the room was very warm (could not get it cooler). The TV controls are not "intuitive" but we figured it out eventually.

Really really bad. The hotel looks nice upon entering and in reception/the foyer, but the rooms were very very dated and incredibly warm despite it being November. This was still the case when I returned at night and the air conditioner in my room would only produce warm air, so I thought it was broken. As such I went down to reception to ask if I could change room. The staff, although very friendly, didn't really seem keen to let me move and explained that the air conditioning was set to only hot now, being "winter". Because after all, why let your guests be comfortable?! They did begrudgingly give me a fan, and as I was only staying for one night thought I would make do with this. I then went to take a shower, and to my surprise discovered no shower gel at all in the bottle in my shower. Luckily there was enough in the one by the sink to make do for my short stay. As such I carried on with my shower... just to then realise that the water was draining incredibly slowly due to a blocked plughole, and as such needed to finish my shower quickly before the basin overflowed and flooded my bathroom. So clearly no care had been taken at all with the maintenance and cleaning of my bathroom. I should have once again gone to reception and asked to change room, but I was just fed up with the entire experience at this point and decided to simply go straight to bed when I returned from my evening out so that I could leave first thing in the morning. I normally like Ibis' because they are reliable and comfortable, but this one was appalling and I honestly wish I had chosen to stay in a hostel dorm instead. By far the worst Ibis I've ever stayed in and probably one of the worst hotels full stop to be honest.

Manager was insulting to my wife and was not helpful when it came to the parking. Food area is way too small to cater for so many people, plus there was not enough food to go round and thr coffee machine was broken. Room is very small.
