Convenient location but poor housekeeping and cleanliness

The room temperature was 25C for 2 days so it was impossible to sleep. I complained and was told a technical would look at the problem. The next day I was told it was a hotel wide problem. The bathroom was dirty with long black hairs. The toilet had black stains. I have photgraphs of the bathroom and toilet if you want to see the evidence. I would have thought the EU would have temperature regulations for hotel rooms, so the hotel may be prosecuted. I would have thought some financial compensation should be paid, for the unregulated temperature. No apology from the reception staff. Convenient location

Sleepless night due to heating issue

Whilst the room was nice, unfortunately, the heating throughout the building was experiencing issues. We were unable to turn off the heating in the room which resulted in a sleepless night even with the window open. The thermometer on our alarm clock was reading in excess of 25 degrees which is ridiculous for such a small room.

I am sorry to say, but the hotel needs an update. It is not quite as clean as a basic hotel as the hotel towels were a bit dirty and I had to change with the front desk a few times. The light in the room did not work. The dehumidifier in the shower was not working. The thermostat was not working. However, the staff were great.

The room was small and dark. Sleeping on the bed was complicated, the matrass was smaller than the bed, the other matlass (surmatelas) moved over the matlas, which was moving too. Result: I fell off, the cover fell off and I had to fix the bed over and over during the night. Having complained about this the bed was made a little better one time, then the probleme continued. The air was not good, air conditioning apparently did not work. For these reasons I will not be returning to IBIS
