It was my 7th holidays at Sofitel the Palm meanwhile. This says it all. I appreciate the continuity of top service all over the last years. And i will come back definetily. I had all I need at the hotel at its best. Special thanks to Mr. Nasr, Mr. Erwin, Mr. Bishnu for your warm familiar welcome and for your special familiar service (you are like a family). Also special thanks for top housekeeping to Mr. Narayan and to Mr. Franco for super Beach service. Cu soon!

Hotel itself is really nice, quiet and well maintained. God idea of not having loud music on the pool and beach. 10 stars for that! As someone who is in hotel industry for more than 15 years I can see some area for improvement. Mostly reception and lost and found procedure. I came to check in as I had issue with pre-authorization of the credi card , I was waiting for an hour for security link to be sent for payment. At the beginning I have offered to pay two-three nights in the meantime they will sent security link. That was not an option. After an hour waiting for security link to be sent I have approached another receptionist who asked me what seems to be an issue. After I have told her I am waiting for an hour now for hotel to send security link she said why do not you pay one night until then we will send security link. Seriously?! That is exactly what I have suggested (offering even to pay more). After that security link has been sent and hotel had the payment in 5 min. Then we gave a credit card to have “no post” removed and the other day we gave another card for full stay saying to release the first card pre-authorization. They have not done that, I have reminded them to do that on the check out (and our stay was 8 days). So some things for sure need improvements, and as I said in my opinion that is reception. Restaurants, pool, spa staff really polite ❤️. Overall good stay (thise above suggestions for improving)

Enjoyed our time as a family. Had fun and liked the atmosphere and service from the staff. Didn't get a very FRENCH feel though. French food at a minimum. The only negative was the pool. No Lilos? and constantly being told off for playing ball or being too far apart. It was frustrating and fun sapping.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was outstanding, the service was always excellent. The Reception team where extremely helpful with any issues. My only problem was that we had to pay for water at meal times - water should be available for all meals at no cost.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel over Christmas. They observed all the traditional Christian festivities with a huge, beautifully decorated tree in the foyer and many others dotted around the resort. Their Christmas Eve supper was divine as was their Christmas Day brunch with live entertainment. Sadly, we were unable to welcome in the New Year as we did last year when Sofitel went all out to create the most memorable evening we have enjoyed in a very long time. Thank you Sofitel - you’ve got a winning recipe for customer service and entertainment!

My first visit to this wonderful property was a four night stay in mid December 2021 and I had the most wonderful time. The Sofitel name naturally sets expectations very high and this hotel certainly delivers. The rooms and the hotel in general are beautifully and tastefully designed and appointed. The rooms are also very large and very comfortable. I stayed in a one bedroom Beach Suite, and it was fantastic. With a very spacious well furnished bedroom and living room and a large bathroom with a freestanding tub and separate shower, the suite also had a walk-in closet and huge balcony overlooking the gardens, the sea (Palm Jumeirah lagoon) and the pool. The suite included access to the Premier Lounge which is great. They serve delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés with cocktails. The excellent service began at the front desk when I checked in. Mr Sufiyan made me feel very welcome, he was determined to find the best possible suite for me (which I believe he did) and, as I arrived early, he invited me to have breakfast at the lounge even before my room was ready. Also in the lounge the staff are wonderful. During the stay the whole team was so friendly and attentive to my needs. And it was all done very professionally without ever being intrusive. When Nazmul saw me in the lounge he made sure I got exactly the coffee, drinks etc. that I had told him I liked. That is great personal service. But also in general service at this property is very good. Every member of staff that I talked to, whether in restaurants, by the pool, or with housekeeping, like Rama who made sure my laundry and all important shirt was returned to me quickly after it had been delayed, they were all so determined to make my vacation the most enjoyable ever. At this hotel it’s all about anticipating needs, making sure any issue is completely resolved. A great advantage of the Palm location is direct access to the beach with the calm warm waters of the lagoon inside the palm crescent. Plenty of comfortable beach chairs are available. And so are several wonderful pools. Dining throughout the hotel is excellent. From steaks at Porterhouse to seafood at Moana, it was all very enjoyable. The food is delicious, the service professional and attentive and the terrace seating provides a great atmosphere. During my stay I had every single meal from breakfast to dinner outdoors. What a pleasure, when you come from a country that has cold weather at this time of the year. Check out by Rio was accompanied by many good wishes for my safe travels home and a hope - of course shared by me - of my speedy return to this vacation paradise.

The check-in took unusually long, which kind of dampened our first hour in the property. We reached the property at 2:40pm, we were told during the checkin that our room is not ready and would take time. I requested at that time itself not to take too long as we were extremely tired and famished. We had a 12 hour long trip with multiple covid tests and all we needed was a hot shower, some food and a bed to rest. While we did dine at the restaurant, by 3:45 also our room was not yet ready. We were too tired to keep our eyes open by then. After my fourth request the room was ready and we could finally check in. The rooms are very spacious, the food was good in all the restaurants. We enjoyed our stay in the property, I wish we didn’t go through that check in incident, it just made us feel too tired and dampened our mood for the afternoon.

We had a wonderful time at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm. After staying at the Sofitel during the summer we just had to go back at the end of the year. Temperatures are much lower in november. We booked a premiere suite with lounge access but were upgraded to a beach suite. Personal at the Sofitel are very friendly and always willing to help out. Staff at the club is excellent. We had diner at the Moana restaurant which offer a great choice of sushi. We will come back in 2022
