Sofitel Dubai The Palm Hotel 5 stars

I felt so relaxed, being at the resort felt a bit like paradise. Love the beach and the service! Good food and the soft music playing everywhere with the architect at the resort really made the feeling complete,, that you get an perfect experience of inner peace and comfort. The beauty of it all just made me feel like this is the perfect getaway and just what we all need to get that total relaxation!

We had a meeting room for a week and hundreds of plastic bottles of water. It’s 2021 in a 5 star hotel. Use glass bottles. Also I ordered an ice coffee at the beach and it came in a stupid single use plastic Starbucks cup, instead of a reusable one, because Starbucks want to advertise. It’s disgusting to see to much plastic. You should also make it mandatory to tell people on check in that you provide a PCR service from 9-2. Only when I asked where I could get one was I told and then it was too late. I had to go to a clinic in Jumeirah

I booked for my family to come for 1 night to this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, and everything was amazing, from early check in to room upgrade to decorating the room with Balloons by Kamola from Guest relations, she did an excellent job by decorating the room by herself and a small birthday cake with a nice note. The hotel facilities are great, from kids pool and slide to a big pool and amazing beach. Overall the stay was short and sweet, highly recommended.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Spacious and well maintained with nice amenities.

- The food is not better than others hotel located in Dubai and at a price lower than the Sofitel Hotel. - The variety of food is limited. - The place is beautiful and the rooms is perfect. - The room staff is better than the others Hotels. - Any details has not given from the reception staff at the arrival about differents possibilities offered by the Hotel such as the Lounge, the beach, shopping ect...

Great place to stay with best quality service

Everything OK. Except for the crowded breakfast.

After room-change (our requests hadn't been considered/fulfilled) stayed in a sunny sea view room. Resort is spacious, thus very relaxing. Housekeeping understaffed and unable to invest enough time in thorough cleaning of new room. Carpet in the hallway is shabby. The resort is, in general, well maintained, but at a critical point. If improvements are further delayed, the quality of the resort will suffer (e.g. carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced asap).

The sofa and the carpet are need to be renewed and at 7:00am they started doing maintenance work wich it was very noisy.

The hotel is well located. Service is professional. Rooms are a little bit outdated (e.g. no electrical sockets close to the bed) but are comfortable. Nice breakfast. Restaurant next to the swimming pool with relatively basic options. Service in the beach area non existent.

The hotel is good for family for sure and especially for kids but the food quality is disappointed and the room dining has really few options. The kids always have the same options for dinner and lunch and if you stay there a few days they would have eat them over and over. The room was spacious but not as clean as a five stars should be cleaned. Balcony was never clean and the bathroom was left several times with no towels and once with no toilet paper and soap. Not the best experience , for sure a place where your kids can have fun for a couple of days.

I stayed at the Sofitel at the Palm after a stay at the Sofitel on JBR which was just fantastic. While the resort is beautiful and I would recommend it to some families the staff were completely different from my first Sofitel experience. Often they were on their phones while at the counter or providing very delayed service (on the beach for example.) It was not quite the same level of service as I had at the Sofitel on JBR.
