I disliked my stay so much that I shortened my trip and left early. Not only was the sound of slamming doors constant, but my doorbell was rang three times waking me from sleep each time - apparently by guests making ‘honest’ mistakes. The AC was freezing and when I had the technician come he said he would fix it on their system but nothing changed and the room temp would not go above 20 degrees. I specifically requested a quiet room upon check in and was first allocated a room that literally shares a wall with the elevator. When I returned to reception to ask for another room I was told by Salvo that he doesn’t know which rooms are quiet or what the lay out of the rooms are. The second room I was allocated was directly next to the stairwell, so the noise of that door opening and closed added to the lovely sounds of slamming guest room doors. My husband bought me this stay to catch up on sleep after finishing cancer treatment and just from being a mum of a toddler and working an extremely demanding job. Quite frankly I sleep better at home with my toddler.
