This was our first visit and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is spotless, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Room: when we arrived we were asked if the visit was for a special occasion. We mentioned we were on a delayed honeymoon from covid thinking no more of it. As we arrived early we were sent off for breakfast at the premier lounge (we had this already as part of our package) and went off to the pool for the day to await our room. The changing room was so clean and nice. When we went to get our room we found that we had been upgraded from a junior suite to a signature suite which was just stunning. Huge shower, his and hers sinks , massive private balcony, 4 poster bed, absolutely luxury. They even left us a huge slice of cake and a congratulations card one night. Premier lounge: A real highlight. Breakfast is everything you could want or need : we loved the fresh eggs made to order. A real thank you to all the staff: Joseph, Rahul, Akash, Shoon, and of course Jaber who within 1 day just bought me a latte and a second one after breakfast because he just knew that’s what I would want. THAT is service. All the staff were great all day. Afternoon tea is wonderful (bread and butter pudding with clotted cream was sooooo good). And in the evening the drinks flowed they never let your wine glass go empty and the cocktails are amazing. A lovely way to spend 2 hours as the sun goes down….. Pools: we only used the first day as we prefer the beach but they were very nice, big, lots of space and plenty of loungers. Beach: Awesome. Always plenty of space, calm waters, very clean and tidy, soft sand. Lots of family’s with children so if you want complete tranquility then possibly not for you but we don’t mind kids and still had the most relaxing time. General: Everywhere so clean. Lots of greenery around. Feels like a true escape. Thank you Sofitel the Palm for the most relaxing and unforgettable few days. We will return without doubt. And once again thank you to the staff mentioned above and apologies if we missed anyone. They are all absolutely fantastic and attentive and I look forward to seeing them again.

We had a great stay at Sofitel the Palm with our toddler. Nice pools and beach, good food and a warm welcome from everyone we met. It's not always easy travelling with a little one but staff went above and beyond to help with milk for a bottle, washing up toddler plates and cutlery etc. and this made all the difference. Special mention to Borra and the whole team at Maui, Waqas at breakfast and to Samuel out front for delivering their genuine hospitality. Thank you!
