Our stay, unfortunately, was not a pleasant experience overall. I had really been looking forward to this trip and was very grateful to the person who booked it for us and even arranged a complimentary upgrade, which made the initial arrival feel very special. Sadly, the overall experience did not live up to those expectations. One of the main issues occurred at the beach, where we had an unpleasant encounter with a super nasty couple who became irritated when my children were being a bit loud. This is a public beach for all the guest to use and at 2pm so Im not sure what do they expect of kids. While I understand that everyone has different expectations for a relaxing environment, the situation escalated to the point where it completely ruined my mood for the rest of the day. As a parent, managing children at the beach can already be quite exhausting, and dealing with unfriendly or rude behavior from other guests made the situation even more stressful. I want to clarify that this particular incident was not the hotel’s fault. However, it did make me wonder whether some guests may expect the property to function more as an adults-only or quiet retreat rather than a family-friendly environment. There were also a few areas where the hotel experience could be improved. The dinner options were quite limited, which may have been due to the fact that our stay was part of a promotional offer, but it still felt quite restrictive and left us with very few choices. The kids’ pool was also very small and shallow, which didn’t provide much space for children to properly enjoy themselves or play comfortably. Additionally, the drinks policy was not clearly explained during check-in. Because of this, my husband assumed that some of the drinks were complimentary and ended up drinking several beverages that turned out to be quite expensive. Clearer communication about what is included and what is not would really help prevent this type of confusion for future guests. Overall, between the limited dining options, the small children’s pool, the lack of clear information about drink charges, and the unpleasant interaction with other guests, the experience was disappointing for me. Traveling with kids can already be demanding, and unfortunately these issues made the stay feel more stressful than relaxing. It was especially disappointing because I had been really excited about this stay and genuinely appreciated the effort that went into booking it and the upgrade we received. Sadly, the overall experience did not reflect the positive expectations I had at the start.
