A night at the MGalley by Sofitel, located in Palm Jumeirah this resort has one heck of a swimming-pool, the best views on atlantid and spacious rooms with great views We had the pleasure to stay one day & night and this was our experience. In short: from arriving at the frontdesk to checkout the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is just out of gorgeous, easily accesible and very well designed looking like a beach. The view with sounds of waves and views of Atlantid the entire day never gets boring, this is a paradise to make unique vacation shots!  The rooms and bathrooms are spacious & clean and the bed sleeps great. The restaurant serves very tasty food, especially the steaks were tender and perfectly cooked. It’s also super to see that the Staff from sales (Mansi) and frontdesk (Olivier) try to give me a superb quality experience on my birthday - Room welcome designs, cake, free salon, free tickets and especially we are on the top view without any additional cost. Overall a great new addition to our stay-over locations and happy to ad them to our accomodation section

We like the hotel and the service they have provided to us. We are happy and how they have greeted us and making sure our needs our met. Although, in some point, a communication got lost in transition between the reception and the restaurant. Good thing the resto manager on the day we stayed was very helpful and was able to accommodate our request.

We went to celebrate our twins birthday there and it was a very right decision to choose this hotel as rooms are big , nice and spacious. Food was great, loved the afternoon buffet , wide range of variety and chefs and managers are very sweet . They especially offered us to ask for anything they could make in their capacity as we are vegetarian so they served omkids anazing stone oven yummy pizzas. Overall Amazing stay .

Overall hotel location and facilities are great, however the check-in and check-out process took a lot of time and effort, also there were no sanitizers available at reception. In addition, the lounge was a bit disappointing.

We were not checked on time which was a let down. Rooms were not ready at time of check in., which had to be chased with front desk for getting it done.

Long check-in, still waiting for my points

I am an Accor platinum member. Called the hotel to check if I could use one of my suite upgrades and they said it had to be done at check-in and I had to book a more expensive room to get it (full sea view). I arrived and I was told my reservation was not in the system as the system was down. Once found, he said no suites were available, which was “surprising” considering that they were still available for booking on their website. I was then sent to speak to the manager, which took another 20 min wait. After check-in was done, I was given the keys to the room 1h+ after check-in time (which was supposed to be 3pm). The room was nice and spacious, with a beautiful view. All the staff was really great. The property has a private beach and a good restaurant onsite (doesn’t serve alcohol). The day after, we got a late checkout at 2pm but could stay at the beach longer. All in all, I give it only 3 points because, despite the staff and properly were 5, the check-in and the delay in getting the Accor points are a huge bummer.

We had a great time staying at The Retreat Palm Dubai, mainly because of the incredible staff, specially Mr. Ajmair from reception and ladies from Club Lounge. Very good breakfast buffet with everything you could want. Very good pool and also the beach which was directly adjacent to the pool area. We would stay there again , we will recommend this hotel

Expected a nice MGallery style hotel - but looks run down. Feels overcrowded; literally sitting on top of ur neighbors at the pool. Club offering pathetic. Breakfast basic. Construction site next door to the hotel.
