We wanted some space for 4 adults and 2 young children, so this was the only 3br accomodation available when we wanted to stay. The apartment itself is functional but tired. Obvious water damage to both bathrooms with swollen cupboard doors. The ensuite door did not shut due to old water damage and the spa did not work either. Only 2 out of 4 recliner chairs worked. There is an enormous balcony overlooking the Docklands which was great but only a very basic out door setting to enjoy it on. Unfortunately it seems that COVID has had an impact on a lot of the restaurants around Docklands so the selection for eating out was limited in that area.

Positives: friendly enough staff at the counter, Tram stop very close. Negatives: Dirty filty floor! cleaning was very substandard, the last occupants rubbish and tags with his name on it along with a drug substance bag left on the ground under the sofa. Housekeeper said she would send someone to clean. After 4hrs of been out the room to allow them to clean, returned to see the filth had still not been done. Asked to move rooms and told the hotel was completely full. There was a constant beeping that continued for the 3 days of our stay. The fire alarm was disconnected which we originally thought where the beeping was coming from. The price for a harbour view is very expensive with actually nothing to see just a small harbour of boats moored. The city view I believe would have more excitment. Parking $30 a night which in some cities is good but for the dead end part of melbourne its rather expensive. I belong to Accor which is a paid membership with this hotel chain and with many other Accor hotels in Melbourne thats where I would go rather than wasting large amounts of dollars to a hotel that is too far from everything and dirty filthy.

I was expecting a hassle free easy stay being a 1night stay business trip. My first surprise checking in was that someone in my office had made a key error booking 2 rooms having been told I had 2 rooms booked, I advised no the stay is just for myself, the staff member wasn't much help regards this, unfortunately this is yet to be resolved if possible being a a accor member. Then having a car to pay $30 for 1night is OTT..... I hastily get back in the car progress to the carpark front entrance, not informed I needed to get out and use the fob to open gate I'm sitting there wondering wtf. I called reception and the staff member comes out to let me in. Upon dropping off my luggage I head back down to reception asking if a barber was located anywhere near by, I was informed just down the street 2blocks. I searched high and low couldn't find it, I went into the IGA located near I was searching and asked them, they had no idea so I wondered why so. In haste due to having to attend a function that evening I gave up. All in all was a stressful time, I won't be staying at this location again.

Loved our stay. Checking in and out smooth and easy. Apartment was great for 3 couples. Spacious, air conditioning in seperate zones, great view of harbour at Docklands. So many choices for a drink or a meal. Cafe for breakfast was great, fast service, meals were top quality. Free tram to city and tennis.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Last time we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment & this time we had a studio apartment. Rooms are clean, spacious & well appointed including a stove, oven & full size fridge. Bed is very comfy. Staff are friendly & helpful. Apartments are in a great position with a tram stop across the road, walking distance to restaurants & a convenient stop that also sells alcohol opposite the front entrance. We have stayed both times to go to the Australian Open tennis. The No 70 tram takes you straight though to the tennis centre& it is free. The No 86 tram takes you to the Bourke St Mall & shopping precinct. We have stayed in Melbourne CBD before but have found that the Docklands area is a much better & quieter area to stay in. We will book the Sebel Residences for any future trips to Melbourne.
