We sincerely apologise for the confusion regarding the car parking and, in particular, for the information provided by our reception team. Our discounted $25 rate applies only to the car park we have an arrangement with, and the parking ticket must be validated and paid for at our reception. Parking at other car parks is subject to their own rates, which can differ significantly. We understand how disappointing it must have been to receive a $120 charge after being advised otherwise. We will address this with our team to ensure all staff are fully informed of the correct parking arrangements and that this information is communicated clearly to our guests in the future. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the lift instructions and the seating in the room, and will share these comments with the relevant teams for consideration. No explanation of how to use lift. I was given an upgrade however the room I was given didn't have an easy chair which was the reason for my initial booking. Unfortunately the car park I used was not the one Ibis had an arrangement with but the reception staff assured me that the fee would be only a little more than the $25 I was expecting - I had to pay $120 the next morning on leaving the car park. The room was basic but spotlessly clean; would have been ideal if there'd been an armchair instead of an office chair.

Disappointed with The FIRST PARKING at 558 Little Bourke St. Was told it would be flat rate of $25 for the arrival at 2pm and depart 7am next morning. Cost me $41 dollars.. Would hope a discount off my next stay is noted for the incorrect info given.

Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is our towels should've been taken out of circulation. They had threads hanging off them.

Loved this hotel - it’s right next to south cross station and the tram stops hence it was easy for us to move around the city and outskirts. Hotel is great and functional for a business hotel - reception staff were all very friendly and helpful.
