I stayed at Ibis Styles Kingsgate for a few nights and had a very pleasant experience. The booking and check-in process was smooth, and the staff were prompt and helpful in answering my questions over email. I had specifically enquired about vegetarian breakfast options, and I was delighted with the breakfast spread—it was excellent, particularly for vegetarians. The room was cosy and comfortable, with heating, while the bathroom had heating lights, which were much appreciated during the Melbourne winter. The room also had a handy mini kitchenette with a kettle and fridge. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, with Southern Cross Station just around the corner, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout my stay. A special mention to the team for their assistance in providing the necessary forms on Census night. The room rate was also affordable and offered great value for money, especially considering the location, facilities, and overall quality of the stay. Overall, a comfortable, great-value stay with excellent hospitality, a delicious breakfast, and a very convenient location.
