After commenting on an awful smell coming from the bathroom, it was addressed, but the smell came back and really spoiled our experience. There was also minimal sugars for tea/coffee and when we asked for more, the staff couldn't find any. Also, the coffee cups were tiny and not conducive to a cup of instant coffee which is what we normally drink. The staff were very professional, however, the smell in the bathroom and the lack of basic facilities did put a damper on what we expected to be top class stay from a Peppers hotel.

Wouldnt check us in for a few hours because our booking had not come through (?) so had to go away and come back 6pm , so much rubbish on the balcony, a big crane obscuring the view, fire brigade announcement 5am. Facilities all closed, not good value for money, promise of manager calling us never eventuated …. Was like Fawlty towers … was waiting to meet Basil!

Room was small and in a bad location

The room was small and it felt like I was just shoved in a corner room facing a brick wall. There was no view at all of the Docklands. I was not happy with the hotel not supplying a car park for guests. We were asked to pay an extra $30 a night for parking.

Bit of a let down, but staff were great

I take my two young boys,9,13 for two night stay in cbd for New Year’s Eve every year. The pool was excellent Thankyou, no room service and minimal dinning out venues around for kids and TV was faulty turning on and off and movie link didn’t work . There highlight of the year is these two days, order room service and watch movies in luxury ( didn’t happen) motel in general perfect, clean and luxurious, staff you couldn’t get better well done , pool kids loved it .

Staff did their best but grossly short staffed and hotel was not as described. Access to facilities extremely limited which was not made clear at booking (I.e. 6 passes to pool for whole hotel). Tried to tell me that refresh of room is not daily. This was not stated anywhere in terms and conditions I recieved and after I left they charged me for a room refresh without telling me! I am going to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I did not authorise this payment. We have stayed and numerous peppers hotels and this was the worst experience we have had. Worst experience of any 4-5 star hotel in fact.

Peppers is ideally situated 10 minutes from Southern Cross Station in the Dicklands precinct. The rooms are spacious and the beds are big, comfortable and gave the best pillows. Bathrooms are also of a good size complete with an array of showring needs. Staff are very pleasant and approachable and whilst we had a few problems with our door key, it was solved with very little fuss during a busy New Years eve check in time. Would we stay again?? Definetly.

Happy with accor group, we know what you are getting. No surprises. Room a be a little bit cleaner, stain on carpet and bathroom. Efficient and prompt front desk regardless running everything by himself! Thank you for a great stay.
