This was my second stay at this hotel. I had no issues last year, however this visit was very different. I experienced a significant security concern with my room. When I returned in the afternoon, I found my door left open and propped ajar after housekeeping — meaning my belongings, including my car keys, were unsecured for most of the day. Reception acknowledged the issue at the time and apologised, which I appreciated. However, I also lodged a formal written complaint with Peppers and received no reply or follow‑up after a full week. Given the seriousness of the situation and the lack of response, I feel it’s necessary to leave a poor review based on the security of guest rooms. Safety should be a basic expectation, and unfortunately this stay did not meet that standard.

No Parking available although we checked in at 2pm, had to park nearly a kilometre away. Had requested our 2 rooms (parents x 2 and children x 2) to be on the same floor - they were not and the access cards would not access each others floor. Cards were only valid for 1 night - we were staying for 2, so kids were locked out of floor/room until they were re-coded. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms were ok, although it is listed as smart tv's for streaming - this was not the case, only normal stations were available, some light globes were not working. Beds uncomfortable with the ridge joining the 2 king singles protruding (needed a mattress topper) Overall, really dissapointing

very nice pool was great, only thing is the room had a slight smell to it like a bathroom smell or wet clothes.

Room was comfortable, very noisy it was a wind tunnel at the end of the corridor . The was wind was loudly whistling the only way to stop the wind noise was to have the room door to the corridor open. Room was not prepared sufficiently with only one coffee pod available.
