the stay itself was fine (reception was very welcoming). upon checking out, I was asked if it was okay to send the invoice to the email address I supplied and I agreed. However, I had to follow up the receipt of the invoice as it wasn't sent. That doesn't make it "easy" for the customer - especially as I was asked. As a result, it delayed my ability to collate my expense sheet for this work trip. Not ideal.

For such a new “5 star” hotel, I was a little surprised at some of the corners that were cut. The television in my room did not work, the WiFi was very slow, and the “king sized” bed was just two singles pushed together. The restaurant lacked variety and was overpriced for what it offered.

Room had so many mosquitoes. Despite requesting it to be cleaned couple of time, the mosquitoes were still there in room, in shower etc. I would have rated the service better if I had a mosquito-free room

Happy with the stay , and the overall hotel experience except for the lack of information about parking - we were not told at check in the cost of parking , and assumed it was complimentary as we were only directed where to park , and not the cost . To be only told by the hotel once we contacted them about the extra charge on the credit card was very disappointing, not to mention the lack of empathy from the hotel once we contacted after the fact , put a dampener on the entire experience ....

Service and your people seem to be a strength. Attention to detail and basics need some work. My room had no soap (at all) and no body-wash (or equivalent) (at all)... after making a call, the response was pleasant, quick and satisfactory... just frustrating that I had to call. There was also an empty, but displayed bath-cap box on the toiletries display... but it was empty... so I had to ask for this too. My only other concern was the lack of anything like hotwater in the morning. I know its peak time, but when showering at 6:30 I should not have to have a lukewarm shower with the hot-tap on full and no cold ...

Friendly staff, good food, good bar. Really need to work on their cleaning and presentation standards, dust build up around the bed, corners of rooms, curtains, suspicious marks around the toilet, wondering if it was clean.
