The room was pleasant and wheelchair accessible. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only very minor downside was the quality of the sparkling wine was not what we expected. However, the food at Miss Mi was outstanding (as usual 😉) and the staff helpful in providing a table that met our accessibility needs.

MOVENPICK MELBOURNE I can truely say this hotel has looked after me on my stays consistantly ever since it opened. Few hotels have made my stay such a pleasant experience Thank you to the staff present and past.Thank you to Tim Bramer one of the Managers. Tim goes out of his way to make sure all is well with your stay. He is exceptional in his cutomer service. 2 nights at Movenpick melbourne Welcome gifted as a Accor mwmber Discount given in bar and restraunt My meals were excellent. Upgraded to a suite ..i love the bath..great to just chill out. So loved the spa and pool Late check out granted. And drink voucher given and great breakfast each day

There were roadworks taking place overnight and we were not notified in advance of this. When traveling for work this is very disruptive. Was offered ear plugs. Other nights were loud due to the train station location.

Normally I stay at Movenpick when I come to Melbourne and have been several times - usually greeted with a welcome back! This time, not only was I asked if it was my first stay, but I was given a handicapped room - which I detest!

I am truly sorry to learn that we "dropped the ball" on this occasion, and that your experience was far from your usual positive stays with us. As a loyal Gold status Accor member who visits us regularly, I sincerely apologize for the lack of recognition upon your arrival and for being assigned a handicapped room without prior consultation. I understand completely how disappointing and uncomfortable this would have been, especially when it resulted in inconveniences such as limited space for toiletries, inadequate towel hanging, shower issues, and difficulties with clothes hanging. Your description of feeling like you were in a hospital is certainly not the experience we want to provide. We pride ourselves on recognizing our returning guests, and it is clear we failed to do so in your case. This is an oversight that we deeply regret, and I assure you it does not reflect the standard of service we aim to deliver. I have taken note of your comments about the busy check-out counter and the absence of slippers, and these points will be addressed internally.
