You definitely can’t beat the location of this hotel! Lovely warm welcome … free chocolate hour, free water bottle refilling station. Our room was large, bright, had excellent lighting and everything we needed. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the station and I was worried about street noise … but we couldn’t hear a thing! Super comfy bed and pillows — I slept like a baby :) Security seems good — you need to use your room key to get up the elevators. The only negatives? We were shocked at the quality of the bathroom towels — super thin, some with holes, stains on others. Oh, and our bathroom fan wasn’t working — we notified reception on the third day of our week-long stay, and maintenance looked at it, but they said “that’s just how it is” (very weak and doesn’t really help vent the bathroom).

I stayed one night as part of a business trip. I felt the Miss Mi restaurant missed the mark, very different impression from website to actually eating there which is more akin to a cafe. Food was good but prices suggested food should have been better. The Fire alarm sensor light in the room was too bright, it had a piercing flash every 5 seconds, I am used to travelling with these fire alarm sensors, but yours were too bright and as a result I will not be staying at Movenpick again sorry.But the room was lovely, but if you cant get a good sleep, then what is the point ?

Overall it was a good experience, it could have been much better though. The room was very clean and tidy, nice bathrobes, minibar is good, good technology to cast to the tv with high security. Yet missing a few things, the sauna was not working properly, I followed the simple instructions yet it wouldn't start it properly, the thermometer and sand clock seemed to be broken, the sauna did not reach a proper high temperature. The pool was very nice as well but I found rubbish floating in it (tissues) The gym was small but it was quality equipment which I was very pleased with. With those little details it would have been amazing but it missed it, it was still a very good experience and I'll be happy to return

Straight off the train at Southern Cross, a short walk across Spencer Street and you are at your hotel. No trams, no taxis/Ubers and no walking blocks and blocks to your hotel. Check in is a breeze and if you arrive early (2pm), the Chocolate fest begins! The rooms are cosy and with the waterfall showerhead to ease away the pain of participating in a Hyrox event, I was content. Breakfast as usual was nice and fulfilling and the staff are very attentive to our demands! :)
