We picked the hotel for its very convenient location, directly opposite the Spencer Street rail station and SkyBus terminal, and an easy walk to Southbank, with multiple tram stops nearby, if not directly outside the hotel, so no troubles getting around the city. However, the hotel itself was great, smaller size rooms but very comfortable, clean and with all amenities needed. Staff were friendly and professional. A great surprise was the chocolate hour, free cakes and small chocolate treats, which went down well with the coffee purchased from the lobby Cafe. No doubt we will be back.

Everything was great except room service. Chicken burger - bun smelt odd and chicken was not appealing so I didn’t eat it

As a semi-regular guest at the Movenpick on Spencer it is indeed a very nice modern hotel. My room on this visit was adequate, comfortable and good bed for sleeping. Room was small but still managed to do my work during the day using WiFi. Small welcome gift of some Movenpick chocolate. Enjoyed Miss Mimi for dinner on one of the nights.
