Booked this hotel because of room service. We were able to get beer delivered to room but could not get pizza delivered. Rang and asked at 8.30 told to ring later as pizza ONLY available for late night menu. I rang again at 11pm and they said they had no pizzas and could not supple any other food so at 11.30 my friend had to head out and try and find us some food. Also we had twin beds that were on wheels that would stop moving as no lock on wheels. Also tv so high on wall I got a sore neck trying to watch it.

I had stayed at this hotel previously, but this time I was disappointed. When I checked the TV in my room, the picture on all channels was breaking up making it impossible to watch. I reported this and a staff member visited my room to help. He saw the problem and set it to a streaming service, but that was subject to frequent interruptions. He said that the problem was due to the rain and nothing could be done about it even though they have reported it to their provider. Two days later, after a reduction in rain, I tried unsuccessfully again. I was moved to another room by a more helpful staff member, but free to air TV was impossible again, although NetFlix worked. The initial attitude of the first staff member and the inability for the problem to be fixed means that I am unlikely to book into this hotel again.

The property is well located near the city centre and train station however the windows are not double glazed so you can here sirens and street noise as clearly as if the window was open. The layout of the hotel is extremely confusing and not accessible friendly as you just use a set of stairs that are difficult to use with luggage. The room was well laid out, clean and a nice simple design. Unfortunately the bed moved a lot on their wheels and the shower head was difficult to use but was fine for a couple of nights.
