My sister and I stayed for 6 nights, we had a standard room with single beds. When we checked in (thursday) we were told there would be no room/maid service on the sunday which was fine and we accepted that. However on the monday our room was not serviced at all, when we went to reception to get new towels they had no reason as to why it wasn't done and offered us free breakfast for the next day which would have been good but we were already getting free breakfasts each day, so nothing more was offered to us other than assurance that it would be done for the rest of our stay. Went to the tennis all day (tuesday) and came back to our room to find they had made the beds but again not changed the towels, so again go back to reception to get towels and again get told they don't know why it wasn't done. The sheets do not fit the bed, a flat sheet is put on the mattress and comes loose as soon as you lie in it and you end up just lying directly on the mattress itself. If these sheets are the best standard you have then I suggest that management sleep on them for a few nights and see what your guests have to use. On the positive side when we told reception that our room was missing a hair dryer we were given one immediately. The breakfast staff do a great job and were friendly and pleasant to deal with as were most of the staff we came in contact with.

Just a short stroll from Southern Cross to the hotel lobby and a welcoming receptionist. I couldn’t fault the room and the standard of cleanliness. Very comfortable overall and a rather luxurious bathroom you can actually move around in. Overall, a little gem I’m not sure I want everyone to know about as it will just make it harder for me to guarantee a booking next time I’m in town.

While the Hotel has a great location, the cleanliness of the balcony and the bathroom floor was very poor - this needs close attention.
