Was a bit disappointed with the room, noisy and uncomfortable bed.

I have nothing but good to say about the staff at the hotel. They were helpful and courteous. That said, I will not stay at the hotel again, will not recommend the hotel, and will think hard about ever staying at any other Novotel property. The hotel is past due for refreshment. The single bed was a cot. The partition is basically a tatami curtain. But the worst is the original design that doesn't make any sense. Particularly the bathroom is made as if an ironic nod to the 70s. The no-border design for a shower doesn't work because there is no slop towards the outlet. the curtain doesn't prevent water from splashing, there is a weird empty space nest to the shower as if for a second shower, or for the shower enclosure to be significantly larger. Hotel provides a bottle of shampoo, but you have to ask for the matching bottle of conditioner at the front desk. Neutral, the area is not the worst, safe and clean, but also not the most exciting
