The hotel was lovely the staff were wonderful and the pool on the roof was lovely for a dip in the heat. It’s a little further out which was nice and quiet. The air on in some rooms was temporary, but the staff changed our room and were very apologetic.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t pleasant. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, and there was a leak in the roof. There were wet floor signs and buckets placed around the hotel to catch the water, which made the property feel poorly maintained. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. The room was clean and the hotel pool was pleasant. However upon checking in and using my credit card at the hotel, my credit card began getting suspicion transactions and I had to cancel my card. 4 days later upon check out, I used my wife's credit card to pay for the room and shortly thereafter I began getting suspicion transactions on my wife's credit card The Mercure hôtel was the ONLY merchant where I used both my card and my wife's credit card and within hours my cards began receiving suspicious transactions. I would strongly advise the hotel to investigate this matter. Luckily I had other credit cards for the duration of my vacation.

Started quite badly as the lady at check-in demanded we pay an extra €150 for no reason even though we showed her the booking several times as the amount stated was significantly less. She then stated it's just charges and demanded we pay. Then after her colleague intervened she gave the money back. Also charged a deposit on the card which she said will be returned on checkout but still not received it 😕. Overall the hotel and staff were good but a shame the check-in lady was untrained and demanding.

Stayed here 2 years ago and had a really enjoyable 3 night stay. This time we stayed for 4 nights, but the quality in almost everything seems to have deteriorated. The air con was a major issue and really impacted sleep due to the room being so hot. We raised this with reception who said they would get someone to look at it, however nothing improved. I just don’t think the AC system is equipped for the temperature changes that are regularly being experienced these days. We were 2 adults and 2 children in a family room. Despite this we only seemed to get given 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels each time there was a change over. Despite the room being marked as non smoking, the room always seemed to smell of smoke when we came back to it. I don’t know if this was because the room seemed to overlook a terrace, but the window was never open. Overall it just felt that everything had been downgraded to do things on the cheap. I know this isn’t the most expensive hotel in Paris, but fell short of expectations from staying at other Mercure hotels. We very recently stayed at the Mercure hotel in Orleans and I like the sustainability principles in the water stations to reduce the use of recycled plastic. In Orleans a nice glass bottle was provided to use to fill up with water. But in this hotel there was nothing, so we had to go out to buy plastic water bottles to then fill back up again. Sort of defeats the point. The reception area also seemed to have downgraded. Last time there were quite a few quirky activities to engage in, these just seem to have been removed and large ugly workspace stations installed instead. Overall I think the hotel is in a good location with decent access to Metro station and has the benefit of an outside pool (when open). But I am not sure I would stay here again for recreational purposes.

The staff was nice, but the hotel was dated. The room did not appear to be clean, carpet and chairs were stained. This hotel obviously was great in the past, but is in desperate need for a renovation. The pictures online seem like false advertising.

The AC was barely working in the building and in the bedrooms even when a technician came to look. The pool was over heated with no one checking the chlorine; it was filthy. Very little staff around the hotel, the restaurant had more than an hour wait for a table and even then very slow service.

1-My room was not ready until 3 pm. 2-Room temperature was very hot as the AC was almost not working. 3-Quality and variety of food were poor. 4-No water bottles inside the room and when asked to buy from the reception they asked me to go down to buy it myself.
