Hve to get drinking water in the hallway 🤬 The bar closes at 23 😢😢🫢 Even in the reception area having a late drink, they turn off the light and leave the guests in total darkness 🤬. Come on😳.

We loved it! The rooms were always clean and the beds were comfortable. As soon as we checked into the room, the front desk called to check if everything is good. Loved the breakfast - great food and lovely staff. One of the days we had to leave early (like 6am) before breakfast started. So we asked the front desk if we can get some fruits for the kids. Special Thanks for the front office personnel (sorry we missed asking for his name) who took the time to get us croissants and fruits and enough food for the day. Also loved having the water filling station outside the room. Uber was easy to get, bus/train was a short walk and the park nearby was a plus for the kids. Overall we had a really great experience. Thanks!

Overall everything was fine. A highlight was the excellent breakfast buffet just the coffee was terrible (from the machine). What was frustrating was the daily cleaning service that changed all towels despite claims to excessive laundry impacting the environment - please include a process by which service can truly be requested at check in and for stays up to three nights there is no cleaning and change of towels or bed linens. If I hang my towels in the bath as instructed in the notice hanging there do not change them! For a hotel chain of this size we should expect more consideration and clearly there is little substance to any sustainability considerations beyond surface. I suggest you contact competitors such as Scandic for practical advice how to really live the claims that I heard your CEO discuss while I was in Paris and staying at your hotel.

Inwas 3 night in the Mercure Bologne and was really excited. I can highly recommend this hotel: friendly and very helpful stuff, nice hotel bar, very good breakfast buffet- best and convenient location, near offices and restaurants!
