Scam hotel stay away! No water im bathroom, building site in room next door, noisy corridor, harsh bedding, bad bad bad!

This hotel is a scam do not stay there! No shower, building site, school noise and noisy cleaners! I’ll explain I arrive at the hotel late from traveling, the staff was very nice I get my keys. The rooms are a crappy made, cheap bed, cheap sheet, , the toilet is in a cupboard with no privacy if you are multiple but I guess it comes with the price although I still paid 130£ for a night … The checkout is as 12 so I thought I could have a lay in to rest from my travel. Some might say: the purpose of an hotel… In an uncomfortable bed, I try to fall asleep and finally succeed after tossing and turning in harsh bedding’s and pillow that are high enough to break your neck but soft enough in the middle for your head to be at a 90 degree angle… anyway I’m finally sleeping… Morning come and get waking up by the school right outside my window, the isolation is so bad I can hear everything and feels like I’m back to school again… it’s outside blaming the window there… but that’s not the worst. When the kids goes in starts next door in the (morning remind you) a you a full on building site with drilling, hammering and sawing, no shame at all. Full on for the entire morning not outside! But inside in the room next door to me! If that’s not it , the cleaning staff follow on the building symphony by slamming doors in corridors just to be sure I’m awake… From every angles.. So I get out of bed, tired upset but let’s go and get a nice shower and get out of this sh..t show.. Nooooo wrong there! No water in the shower , no pressure in the sink nothing absolutely no way to wash! So I had to get out of that nightmare upset unwashed tired and got told to contact booking.com as the hotel couldn’t do any kind of refund for me. If you would like a hell stay, be my guest! Disgusting to charge ppl for that.. Enjoy the photo of the water stream, the non water shower and the glorious view…

Let me start by the good things: the bedding and the bed were comfortable! Everything else - not so much. I know it was just my luck maybe but the hotel had works being done - even on a Sunday. I mean ok, hotels also need to have repairies put in place but on a Sunday, really? No hairdryer, no cups (even plastic ones!) The room was dirty - the years old jet black stains on the wall right where your head goes if you sit in your bed, the greasy stains on the window, sticky floor - yikes. Then due to repairies they would turn the water off 10am to 2pm. Yay, great, why did I pay the 3-star rate for this hotel to not even get a decent 2-star experience, I don’t know. I will not stay here again, for sure.

We chose this hotel for that parking and location. We stayed as a family, for 1 night, before heading to Disney. The hotel is clean, the breakfast was great and staff were at hand if needed.
