So it got a star because the room was great. Clean, and it had its on bathroom. The price gave it the second star. The cards for the room didn’t work. Which I could have understood, it happens. What lost it all the other stars were because of Its staff. We had a staff member just let themselves into the room at 7:55 am. We told them to go and we thought check out was 10:00am. Then at 8.05 the cleaner let herself in and we said please leave. Then at 9:10 ish the cleaner let themselves in again and we rushed to shut the door. When I handed back the keys they asked how our stay was and when I said it would have been if we weren’t woken up before 8:00am and then disturbed two more times after that, the guy laughed and then he and a colleague spoke in another language, and laughed again. I would not recommend because of the staff.

overall easily one of my favourite places to stay in sydney, especially for the price. well located to the cbd and easily accessible on public transport. although the hallways look a little run down, the rooms do not at all. personally i think the rooms are incredible for the price. the only downside side is that the main entrance can be a little tricky to find (especially if walking/driving from the cbd direction) but there are signs. also the keycard entry on william street is finicky/often does not work.

Check in was quick and easy. The rooms are small but clean. I’m a platinum member and was disappointed that there was no platter, chocolate or wine, which I normally receive. Instead when I went to reception to check in, they gave me two cans of soft drink. They said that they don’t give the other extras because they are a budget hotel.

The reception staff are very friendly and approachable and were able to solve our issues. It is a kind gesture to offer drinks to the guests at the check-in. However, it would be better if there were a note advising guests taking a taxi or rideshare to alight at the Premier Lane entrance rather than William Street. Carrying luggage up the flight of stairs to the reception can be daunting for people with heavy luggage

Great location, great staff. Comfy bed. Unfortunately the air conditioning failed, leaving us with a mostly sleepless night. Staff organised another room for us, but that one was hardly any better. We've stayed here before and there wasn't a problem so I'm hoping this was a one-off. Aircon problems are unfortunately a feature of many Sydney hotels.

Hotel is ok in a good location. It is noisy in the rooms with furniture being dragged around in the room above and house keeping starting early in to corridor. There is limited sound proofing through the door from outside.
