First, let me extend my sincere congratulations on your retirement after 36 years of hard work, and I’m sorry that your final night in Brazil was not the positive experience we aim to provide our guests. I deeply regret the inconvenience regarding the lack of 110-volt outlets in your room and the issues you encountered with the transformer. We understand how essential your wife’s oxygen concentrator is, and we should have been better prepared to accommodate this need immediately. While our staff made an effort to resolve the situation, it is clear we fell short of meeting your expectations and our own standards. Please know that I have shared your comments with our team, and we will review the available equipment and procedures to ensure this situation does not happen again in the future. We take your feedback seriously and will work to improve the resources we offer to guests with specific needs. However, we sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay, particularly the cigarette smell in the hallway and your room. While our hotel is non-smoking, we will investigate this matter further to ensure that this is addressed and does not affect future guests.
