The hotel was great until the fire alarm started sounding. I had a long layover in Sao Paulo and needed a place to rest. I tried calling the help desk, but the line was busy, so I rushed to take my belongings to head out of the hotel. To my surprise, it was a fire drill. Normally, you let people know in advance when these things are expected to happen to avoid stressful situations. I asked the staff why the didn't let guests know about it and they said they tried to tell some guests but it was too late. What could have been a restful experience, turned quite bad because of lack of communication and poor customer oriented handling of the situation.

My stay was booked through a company, however, reward points were used incorrectly which was a mistake. This led to a long and stressful check in, then I was asked to make a ‘holding charge’ far exceeding the price of the room (230GBP). This however was not a holding charge at all, I was just charged. Upon checkout I was informed that I didn’t have the same card that made the payment, I did, I showed them the charge on my banking app, they told me the charge would be cancelled but unfortunately this has not yet materialised. All in all this was an extremely bizarre experience. The stay was otherwise satisfactory

When we got here, we discovered a trash can full of trash by the fridge. We had to contact the maintenance guy to fix the shower because it was not working properly. Overall, was a good stay. The breakfast was really good, and the staff was both helpful and polite.

The hotel has a good size and cleaning room, good internal restaurant and kids play area. The cable TV and Internet access was the weak and disapointment point of the stay, no access to international news and limited channels options.

Lara was incredibly helpful, she gave me great recommendations, shared useful information about the restaurants, and offered clear guidance throughout my stay. The entire staff was pleasant, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back!
