Dreadful breakfast; annoying room deposit

The room and shuttle were fine. Breakfast included ice cold scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon and potatoes resembling styrofoam. A 100 Euro deposit was charged to my credit card on check-in and four days later has not been removed. The hotel blames Visa. I blame the hotel for putting the charge on in the first place. Why? They have my credit card info in the unlikely event that we damage the room. Finally, when booking, the PayPal charge went through but when I was returned to the hotel website, I got an error message. No email confirmation arrived until I called the hotel. Next time we'll try another airport hotel.

The room and shuttle were fine. The breakfast was awful. Ice cold scrambled eggs; uncooked bacon; limited fruits. We were charged 100 euros as a "deposit" when we checked in on Nov 18. It's now Nov 21 and the charge is still on my VISA card. This strikes me as unfair (why wasn't the credit processed as quickly as the charge???) and unnecessary. You already have my card number and my agreement to your terms and conditions. If for some reason we damaged the room (??), you can charge my credit card. We stay at dozens of hotels. None of them charge a deposit. Finally, when I booked the room online via PayPal, the charge went through but when I was returned to your platform, I got an error message (can't complete . . . .). I never got an email confirm until I made a phone call to your desk. Not acceptable.

Construction and Poor Service

My family and I had the misfortune of staying during hotel wide construction. Workers were outside using drills and hammers to build scaffolds and work on the exterior walls of the hotel. This constant noise was inescapable. When we went to checkout and catch the shuttle to the airport, the receptionist said that we had underpaid by 30 Euros. They could not explain what the charges were for. I booked this room on the hotel website and paid in full in advance. After this disagreement with the receptionist the airport shuttle leaves causing further delay. The receptionist then tells me that I had overpaid by 30 Euros and now they owe me 30. Once again, they cannot explain why. They refund my card and then call me a cab to the airport who then hustles me out of 30 Euros for a 2km drive to the airport.

Being an accor member and using the accor group countless times, I can only express my deep disatisfaction with your hotel, it is the first time such a thing happen so I am surprised to your level of unprofessionalism. On check out I was told the 100 EUR deposit was going to be given back autonatically, in fact the previous night I have stayed at tge nearby Novotel suites and the refund was immediately done. In your case it hasn't been done yet. I have first made a phonecall and the reception staff said it was going to be solved. Many days later nothing happened , I have made a second phone call and your staff told me to send an email. I have sent an email and after 10 days I am still waiting, you haven't even acknowledge my email. I have no time to waste on these kind of things so I won't recommend anyone to stay at your hotel and experience such unprofessionalism.
