I pre-paid breakfast with my stay. At check-in I was informed that due to Covid-19 restrictions I had to pre-order the breakfast for a specific time and hang the order form on the door handle. I was also informed that if I desired egg or bacon I could just write that on the form. I interpreted this as the breakfast would be delivered to my room. I chose the time 05.00-05-15 and ordered the following items. Coffee Cereals with milk Orange juice Scrambled eggs Bread Butter Cheese Fresh fruit At 5.15 I had still not received my breakfast so I called the front desk. I was then informed that the breakfast was waiting for me in the restaurant? So I made myself ready, left the room and rushed down to the restaurant. I was handed a tray with only a few items from my breakfast order. Coffee Cereals Bread Orange juice. No scrambled eggs No butter No cheese No fresh fruit Am I supposed to eat only dry bread with no butter or cheese for breakfast?? Terrible value for money. If I would have time I would insist that I was served the items I ordered but I was in a hurry for my flight. I really would expect a refund for the substandard breakfast.

The Front office did a good job, very welcoming and accommodating, yet the first room assigned was having a heavy smoke smell and the second room needed a better cleaning, particularly on the floor and toilets. The restaurant team needs to provide more welcoming feel. It is already very depressing to be in a hotel during this period and any contact with the staff can make a huge difference to feel welcome and at ease. Just sharing the feeling and experience from our end on where the team can make a difference.
