The room was fine except the shower head seemed to be a bit plugged. I was not happy with the waitress when I had dinner Tuesday night. She was unfriendly, gave me no water and did not return to check on anything else I may have wanted.

The room was comfortable and the reception was incredibly helpful when i arrived. I stayed for 2 days, during which the cleaner on duty refused to clean my room even after I saw her in the hall way and asked her to. I wonder why that was. In the morning I had breakfast, my physical card had been declining due to bank issues, I told him I would settle scores at check out after changing money for my virtual card but he went to raise his voice at me, insisting I pay there and then. I had to wait at the kitchen area till transaction was done and I could pay few minutes before check out. I wonder if that is how you treat all your customers. When I left, your reception called me to say I didn’t pay for a room I spent 2 nights in, I had to ask them which receptionist would give me a card to a room I didn’t pay for, she however found the receipts and apologized. I would suggest treating the black single women who visit your hôtel with more dignity.

I especially booked the hotel because it was a 4-star hotel close to CDG airport. Once I got to the room I was shocked by how dirty, old and damaged everything was in the room (Room no.432). I will NEVER return to any MERCURE hotel in the future.
