I never booked for Novotel at World Trade Centre. My booking was for Ibis hotel. In extreme Dubai heat, after a travel of 20 hours from Seattle, while checking in at Ibis reception, I was told that due to renovations at Ibis your stay has been transferred to Novotel. I accepted the confusion, but to my further surprise, there was no way to transport me and my luggage from Ibis to Novotel. There was no manager the Ibis hotel reception, just a security guard. I was made to walk, in 43 degree C, with my luggage to Novotel. Upon reaching there, I did not find anyone saying even a word of sorry. In a state of panic and confusion, with a further wait of 25 minutes, I was finally allocated a room. Not that I expect any courtesy or professionalism while in any middle eastern country including UAE, it is unfortunate that not even a single word of apology has been extended. When I am being asked to write this survey, no one is aware of how the booking and check-in scenario was handled and mismanaged. Extremely disappointed at the unprofessional attitude and work ethic of management. Staff was nice, no complaints or regrets around that.

If there was a rating of 11 out of 10 I would have given it. I moved in unfortunate circumstances to Novotel on a personal level. The seamless service, extremely polite, accomodating requests, everything gets a 10 on 10. Special appreciation for Salem who always is a pleasure to speak with and is so comforting. I travel the world for work and have stayed at hundreds of hotels globally. Novotel Dubai World Trade Center is No. 1 in my opinion. My appreciation is very less, tipping them isn't good enough. I whole heartedly thank Novotels Staff from Samer to the bell boy and even the valet drivers for their hospitality and send my highest level of appreciation. Thank you for being such an amazing team while I had a tough time in my personal life. You've really helped me and I can't thank you all enough. Much love, if I could ever be of help with anything I am just a call away.

The hotel was generally quite good but had a few flaws; the bathrooms didn't have vents so they did not smell nice, I was unable to dine at the hotel restaurant because the prices were extremely unaffordable, and the carpet in the room was dirty with lots of stains on it. It had not been washed, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Parking service was great. Thank you.
