Disappointed by the poor standards at the breakfast including paper napkins and overall quality of food displays (items placed on huge quantities) I had a problem on the first night with the bathroom sink and while pulling out the stopper it was filthy dirty (disgusting) for such a hotel. I left the stopper to the GM attention and didn’t receive not even a sorry, which makes this incident even worst. Never again…..

Some good a lot of disappointment , Stay at this hotel was less than Ideal though the location was good the front desk staff were super friendly , we were a group of 6 , we had 1 two bedrooms suit , 3 single suits , 1 king room all for 4 nights . each room came with its own problems. The two bedroom had a problem with the Living room AC , and the TV was not working , however it was really not convenient to switch the rooms for us so we stayed , don't get me wrong the rooms were not bad cold enough , but usually for such a premium hotel you expect more. to make matters worse there were construction in the room above me "WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION" , I was awaken two days in a row at 9 am because of drilling noises , in many properly managed hotels you usually get a paper under the door stating the construction time to help arrange your time . in this hotel this was not the case. one of the suits had a problem with the AC , and when you usually arrive it is the best time to relax, and layback for a short nap , the guest could not do that as they came in and open the access panel to fix the AC . the other one had a bad smell of sewers in the bathroom , and had to call them in to do something about it , which could not be fixed until he left and came back . The king room had loud noises by cleaning staff in the morning. that woke up the guest every time . To add insult to injury the valet downstairs are never there after 2 AM , and we didn't have access to the parking so were stuck sometime for over 25 minutes to get someone to take the key and park the car. over all of this , when we asked for a late check out at least to 2 pm , two rooms were approved and the other 4 were not . it is sad to see such disappointment in a prominent chin like Fairmont , it is sad to say I would not be staying there again

Worst room service

Hotel is well located and clean. However the staff was not courteous. Room service was the worst for example I requested bell boy service early morning since I was checking out. Bell boy never show up and I have carry my bags myself to reception since I was getting late. Hotel management to take a note if they want to maintain the reputation of this international chain of hotels.

Firstly comparing the hotel price for accor members and the hotel price of the travel agent are the same or more expensive. Secondly, as a platinum member we could not get a complimentary breakfast. Somehow I made a bad decision to stay in this hotel as I was expecting a complimentary breakfast. As at the time when I booked this hotel there are many different options and better value for money but I insisted to be loyal to accor. Sadly it didnt fulfilled my expectation at all. It was a disappointment and somehow as platinum member we just didnt get appreciated, its not easy to maintain platinum status too

Unfortunately I have not been impressed with the Fairmont at all this time and it has actually left a bitter taste in my mouth such as that I will not be returning to this hotel. On Thursday night (5th May) as I was about to go to sleep I encountered these stains on my newly changed sheets It was pretty disgusting to say the least so much so that i decided to sleep on the sofa in the living room as my husband had already gone to sleep. image0.jpegimage1.jpeg I rang the next day 6th May Friday afternoon to have my room made up (approximately 4pm) and to get the sheets changed and was advised that house keeping will take care of this. I arrived back at 12.30am that evening to see that the room had not been made up and that I still have the stained sheets. I rang down to the royal service to advise the above and had quite a rude response, but was advised that someone would come and change the sheets. I waited half hour and had to ring again to be advised house keeping had been advised and on its way. Even when housekeeping did turn up I asked for some face towels and he just didn’t turn up again after that again pretty disappointed Friday morning I was also woken up to the noise of drilling and banging from works going on in the surroundings of our room not ideal at all when on vacation. I have stayed at the Fairmont numerous times pre-Covid and it definitely seems that standards at the Fairmont have dropped over the years and despite the refurbishment the level of service has not been maintained at all Definitely not 5 star!! I shall not be recommending this hotel to anyone else also as I often have friends and family who visit from the UK and ask for my recommendation on hotels as I have been visiting Dubai for the past 20 years in which I have stayed at many of your peer hotels on SZR such as Sheraton Grand and Conrad and many others all at which I have had a pleasant stay. First time in my life I have been disappointed by a hotel and I have travelled to the Far East and the US as well and never had such a terrible experience I will be making sure others are aware of my experience as well rest assured as I don’t wish others to stay at the Fairmont thinking it will be pleasant to find it’s not at all and also spoil their vacation

1-I'd complained many times from in dinning service never answer the phone. 2- requested laundry services to clean a cotton pant stayed 2 days and returned back to me ironed not cleaned with 40 dhs when dirty was shown up to them they took it again for 3 hours and was cleaned .

Great location right by the metro station and walking distant to many restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is really good along with the restaurant, pool and general facilities. The egg chef knows how to cook poached eggs to perfection. Always a sign of a good chef who can cook eggs right. Sadly, the skill of such simplicity isn't as good in other hotels. Well done to the kitchen staff the Fairmont. The recent renovations and room upgrades have lifted the hotel from a good hotel to a great hotel. This is a big improvement on the last time I stayed there pre-covid times. Thanks to all of the team and I will see you again next time.

Good location, next to one of the transit stations, making it very accessible. Nice clean hotel, breakfast ease very good, with a great choice each morning. Rooms were a good size and clean. One thing we were a little disappointed with, was the lack of beds around the pool for the amount of guests.
