Had we been informed during your stay, our team would have intervened immediately to resolve the problem. Regarding the room temperature, your stay took place during an exceptional heatwave. Our air conditioning was operating at maximum capacity, but unfortunately, under these extreme conditions, it was unable to cool the room as effectively as usual. We understand how uncomfortable this must have been and regret the inconvenience. We were meeting family at the Euro Lille Gare and this hotel is brilliantly located for that. That makes it slightly further to stroll into the old town - but only say 7-8 mins further and much quieter than a hotel near Lille Flandres station would have been. We have stayed in other NV suites and the rooms are identical - a very good size and very comfortable for three. Having a bath and a separate shower in the bathroom is quite unusual and really nice. HOWEVER! In common with our other past experiences the rooms are WAY too hot! Even with the aircon on max all night it’s roasting hot!! Maybe the room needs more effective blinds/glazing rather than just relying on the AC which obviously for environmental reasons can’t just be left on all day. Overall though great value and suited our needs very well.
