Pros: - location is next to train station but a bit away in a rather charming environment - comfortable bed and sofa bed in living room - Gold member upgrade, complimentary drinks in room and a nice spacious suite, slippers and bathrobe - ample of work space and sitting areas - Common area was also quite nice and open, kids area for little kids, outdoor space is nice too - front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly and always helpful - very nice and friendly room cleaning staff always kind to clean and not move random things. - view of street from room was also very nice and city like. - comfortable bed and pillows and clean towels and sheets, very good job from house keeping. Cons: - room layout has a rather old school charm but way too many doors for bathrooms/toilet/living room, perhaps a more open layout with possibility to close a larger door would make this suite amazing. Also the door of bathroom has glass so if lights are turned on in night everyone wakes up. - even though bar staff was giving drinks and sort of friendly, it seems rather an imposition to give welcome drinks (which is cheap beer/wine at a 4 star hotel) and I chose not to take my third drink as felt a bit like I was asking too much. For 150 a night I guess in Lille they have to cover all aspects of memberships. -no welcome card or gold member amenity (except what is standard for the room type which is free juice in room) - strong marujana smell on second floor hallways made it a bit hard to breathe but it’s not hotels fault, I am sure some crazy guest All in all good experience with very welcoming staff, some areas to improve. Hopefully they make amends before next visit :)

Conditionaire was like hand sanitizer. Room was hot.
