it seems that you have a deliberate policy of keeping the bedrooms cold..no heating in the morning or evening at all. A slight minimal warming during the midmorning. On enquiring at reception I was told that the heating comes on at set periods. This did not happen even after asking again. Also I was rather disappointed to be asked to pay such a high cost to park. Is there no discount even for members..very disappointing.

We have stayed here before, but I really don't remember it being this basic. Reception was friendly and welcoming. The key code printed on the booking receipt was good and saved the need for physical cards. The room was very basic and small, but comfortable. A few dowsides were the automatic bathroom lights, ok normally, but no way of leaving them off if you get up in the night and don't want to wake a partner. The shower fitting was a work of art, with the shower head holder only held in place by a black plastic zap tie, which kept sliding down the rail. Just fix it. The shower itself constantly alternated between hot and cold making the whole shower experience a big disappointment. Breakfast was very good and parking was great, if a little tight.

Think this should be re-classed as a Hostel. The reception area was untidy and depressing. Our room wasn't clean. The bathroom shower area was filthy. The bed was small, hard and very uncomfortable. We didn't spend much time at the hotel thankfully. I definitely wouldn't book again
