Check in person was very polite and friendly. Hotel is so budget and not value for money, though acknowledge we stayed the night before the F1 when prices were very inflated everywhere in Melbourne. However, the facilities are in desperate need of an upgrade - signage in rooms advising fire alarms go off due to steam from shower and no lifts meaning you have to lug bags up the stairs. Beds were very average. Bathroom was not super clean - hair on walls from previous guest(s?).
