Due to cancelled flight at I booked a room for arrival into Melbourne a late time and missing my connection flight. I realised that I accidentally put 8th of December not 8th of November. I attempted calling three times with no success and emailed. Due to no answer on phone or reply email, I booked another night for 8th of Nov to ensure I had somewhere to stay. They finally replied via phone call and said I could change the date, I asked if I could get a refund as I already booked another room as I couldn’t get through to them over a 30minute period. They said I could but would have to get approval from the Manager. I emailed twice to follow up, they then replied a few days later saying I could not get a refund. Extremely disappointing. The service at the desk upon arrival was also poor and the quality of the room was low. Another lady staying in the hotel had no lights in her room working and the lift was having issues also.
