I booked this room for my wife so she didn't have to drive down in the early morning to pick me up from the airport. Apparently because I wasn't staying my reward options and loyalty rewards weren't available. So she didn't receive the food and beverage discount or the drink vouchers. I find this disappointing because I booked and paid for the room, and the trip was to pick me up. In future I will book at another hotel chain because I am a Gold member of all of them! In addition her sleep was disturbed by water hammer in the walls all night.

As always Mantra hotels are clean and well presented, staff are friendly. This time we chose to dine in the restaurant.The menu stated that there was gluten free options and upon asking the waitress about this, I ordered the gluten free calamari. I have gluten allergy and have requested a gluten free meal at numerous Mantras in the past with no previous issues. The meal arrived and I began eating and suffered a severe allergic reaction. It became obvious that the entire meal was not gluten free at all. Your staff put me in extreme danger and I am appalled by the lack of understanding of food allergies and the health risks associated. Your senior staff gave me my calamari for free, great but I didn't eat it !! A couple free drinks for my family, but it doesn't make up for the horrible night spent being extremely ill when I would have rather been spending time with my family.
