As we stay at the Mantra Tullamarine, each time we visit Melbourne as it is close to our family 2 streets away, we were a little disappointed this stay that on check in we were not advised of the regular facilities not available. eg, no breakfast, and on the second day I had to enquire about getting fresh towels. Would have been helpful had we been advised. Otherwise, room lovely and clean and we will stay again. Perhaps a breakfast tray might be an option.

I understand there are covid restrictions however these were taken to ht extreme. The bar and restaurant were closed and when we asked about food options we were told to order uber eats. There wasn't even a bottle of water for us to drink. The opening hours of the gym and pool were so restricted that there was no way to use them due to the check in and check out time. We basically paid for a bed and a bathroom to use. We would have been better off saving the money and getting an uber to the airport

Why don't you check and see if I actually stayed at the Mantra Tullamarine! You cancelled my reservation at short notice and at great inconvenience to me as the hotel was going to be used as a quarantine facility within 24 hours. Then you offer no compensation other than a refund (which I don't have yet) So no, not a great experience.

The room was clean and adequate, however the service was definitely lacking. There was no cafe, restaurant or room service. There is nothing nearby. We arrived in the evening and were reluctantly told to phone uber eats if we wanted anything for our dinner. The same went for breakfast. We don't usually use this sort of service, so it was very disappointing. We were handed a couple of tea bags in a paper cup and that was as far as any refreshments went. No water in the fridge. They have a little bus for transport but the instructions of where to meet the bus at the airport were not very clear and the bus driver drove straight past us the first time. It was cold and not a very pleasant wait. The bus driver however was a very nice helpful man. We understand that during this period of COVID 19 it is difficult, but this was well below par.

I stay at this hotel because of the on site restaurant & bar. Unfortunately it wasn't advertised that it was closed. No mini bar either. Not happy.

Having been told on arrival that my prebooked 4th of January was cancelled was not a very good start. No restaurant so no breakfast. was given 2 coffee sachets and some sugar and milk and that was it. Shower was hot but a very strange arrnagement to get into and the toilet is too close for an older person who stand without banging their head on the shower screen door.

It took three phone calls before the shuttle arrived, so 45 minutes waiting at the shuttle stop at Tullamarine. On arrival at the hotel the restaurant was permanently closed, so no dinner after flying all day and only a very light lunch. I had to take the lift down to reception to ask if I could use the room telephone as reception had pressed “answer”(obviously by mistake as I could hear two voices in the background talking) but not hung up, so I could not call them again. The two pillows were flat and rock hard, so even though the bed was comfortable, I just could not sleep. I would read a bit and try again, but those hard pillows would not allow me to fall asleep. The rooms had been stripped of everything except bath gel, shampoo and the kettle, ready to become a COVID hotel the next day. I was given a cardboard cup and tea bags upon check in to take up to the room. Television was only basic free-to-air channels, no cable at all. I pity the people who have to isolate in this hotel for fourteen days! I do not recommend this hotel. It has put me right off booking any Mantra hotel in the future. If the pillows had been half decent and I had been able to sleep, I might have scored 5.

Room great, personal at desk great, but was not told when booking that no meals or room service was available. No shops around to get good so had to wait till next morning at airport for a feed. Other wise no problem at all
