I accidentally booked the Ibis at Fawkner … I thought I was booked into the Ibis at the airport ( I know my stupid mistake ) but I feel easily made. I realised several weeks prior but under no circumstances was I able to change hotels. I rang and spoke to several people. No luck. I emailed and asked if I could have a credit but No reply. So sorry I won’t be staying with you again and I imagine I will not get a reply from this either.

It was alright apart from the room being too small

There were bugs all over my hotel room. It was disgusting.

Extra charge for car parking in a nearly empty car park, room was very poorly cleaned and run down, bed was not comfortable. Would suggest staying elsewhere.

Although Ibis Budget Fawkner is well located I was not happy with the customer service. The advertised overnight tariff is incorrect once the car park fee of $5/day is added to it. The desk attendant was not very friendly. Also - the towels supplied with our room were threadbare and scratchy. I think a handtowel or teatowel would have been a thought to include with the hand basin considering it is removed from the bathroom
