Staff are friendly and check in was smooth and simple however the facility and condition of the room and building was below average, the price reflects the condition of the room/building. The walk way to the room smelled like wet carpet and mold. The door/entry into the room was too small to get the luggage bag in and out of the room, we had to lift the bags up and over the bed just to be able to get in and out of the room. Bathroom is super small, no sink to wash hands/face, bathroom door had to be slammed everytime we wanted to use it, meaning if one of us needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night it woke everyone else up. Pillows, I would not even call them a pillow! Basically sleeping on nothing. Blankets were not warm enough especially for visitors from warmer parts of the country and Melbourne being so cold, the Aircon/heater was difficult to turn on and when it was on for the heat, the person sleeping on the top bunk would over heat as the heat rises but the people on the bottom bed would still be cold! The fridge would not cool, tried plugging in different outlets and tried different settings however it would not cool for our weeks stay meaning we could not keep our fruit/milk/drinks and snacks cool at all. Ants everywhere! Ants coming up through the sick and cracks of the walls, there is no were to put our clothing, luggage and hygiene products so the ants got through everything! We were there for a sports trip and it was horrendous finding ants all through our sports gear and equipment. The sink is to be shared for hygiene purposes and coffee cup wash ups and the water does not flow down efficiently leaving grub sitting in the sink after use. No tea towel provided to wash up coffee cups. We stayed for 5 nights 6 days, no room service was provided even though the sign was put on the door, this means no top up of tea sugar and coffee was provided and we had to keep asking for fresh towels, being there for sports, multiple sports games spread throughout the day so needing multiple showers a day one towel per person for 5 nights was not enough. The front door at the main entrance was small and difficult to get luggage through. Overall would not stay again and would not recommend.

The bed was comfortable but thats it couldnt have aircon ,heater on cos the cars going past was less noise the drinks stayed colder out of the fridge and the woman screaming at her son about a phone for hours and stomping around and the drinks machine at front counter charged us twice for one drink and we told person at front desk and he didnt really care just said have to talk to manager and took our room number but we heard nothing

I am extremely disappointed and frankly quite upset about my experience. I had a very serious incident in the room — there were shattered glass pieces left on the floor, and I stepped on them, injuring my foot. I’ve attached photos of both the glass and my injury. This is completely unacceptable and poses a serious safety risk. To make matters worse, the overall condition of the room was shocking. It was clearly not cleaned properly — there was visible dust, stains on the bed sheets, and the toilet was left in a disgusting state. The hygiene standards are far below what is expected from a hotel. I was exhausted and unable to go through the hassle of moving rooms again, but this has been one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. I expect this matter to be taken very seriously and addressed immediately.

I booked, payed and checked in online, I was sent my confirmation number and everything. I the arrived at the hotel late at night, in the rain where I was told that they didn’t actually have a room for me (even though I had booked and been confirmed already). After arguing back and forth for almost 30 minutes they told me to wait in their dark, cold open space outside while they try get a cleaner in and clean a room for me. I waited for 1.5 hours and the when I finally got in my room it was still filthy. I am extremely dissatisfied and would like a full refund.
