Whilst I understand this was a budget hotel I was booking. I would say it was lacking staff care. As for the room I was completely baffled to see stains on walls & the floors slippery & unclean. The only part of this experience that felt clean was the sheets & towels that were laundered.

the staff is very good and friendly. also very helpful but the hotel itself is really cheap. the rooms are too small, like a prison cell. too loud and not that clean either

We arrived at night after a long drive from Sydney to Melbourne (approx. 10 hours), not greeted by anyone. Unattended desk and had to wait another 15 minutes clueless if someone going to come back or attend the desk to meet us when we just wanted to have some rest already. When someone finally came, he looked at us with sharp eyes like we were criminals or something. No smile, no greet (we greeted him first), nothing. He just simply sat down and we had to explain ourselves that we wanted to check in. Paid extra $5 for what was supposed to be "Reserved" Parking spot, we weren't explain where to park etc. We just parked our car anywhere it's empty. What's the point of paying the $5 for?!! Went to our room to have some rest, the first thing we got when we opened our room was a hot 'sauna-like' room. Aircon was off and the room was worn off. Got a queen size bed based and single bed for kid bunk style. But the kid bunk style has no bed cover and was very dusty. So we had to let our son sleep with us in the queen size bed below. 2 bugs were found during our stay as well. We're not too fuzz about it since we can simply killed and chucked them to the bin. But it speaks quality and cleanliness of the room! Also since the Aircon was turned off when we arrived and we had to turn it on ourselves (very old AC style), we had to wait for at least 2 hours before the room is getting colder so we can sleep. What a nightmare experience when we just arrived tired and sleepy! Wont' recommend the hotel to anyone and won't come back again. If this is the standard for Accor 'budget' hotel, then really 'What you pay, is what you get' in this case scenario. I hope that wasn't the case though. If it is, then Accor's Head of Customer Service/Experience has a lot of work to do!

Not recommended for very late check in like after midnight. Reception closes at 10pm. No elevator for heavy or big luggage. Door was locked and stayed outside the property for 10 minutes until someone opened the door for me to smoke outside (No doorbell). As my call roaming didn’t work in Australia, he let me used his phone as well to call the receptionist (Thank You!) or else I will be sleeping on a couch. Wi-fi password not provided too. It was such a disappointment for a first time Ibis guest.
