ibis Tours Nord hotel is located in the heart of the Tours Nord business hub, 15 mins from the old town, Saint-Martin Basilica, Saint-Gatien Cathedral and close to the castles of the Loire Valley. I was so pleased by the warm, professional and efficient welcome at IBIS Tours Nord after a long motorway drive. Just what I, my companion and dog needed. The hotel was easy to find in a busy location and the overnight stay was tranquil. Very comfortable, nice and clean and most pleasant. An excellent evening meal and the big-choice breakfast just what we needed for the next stage of our motorway journey. Attentive and thoughtful staff at all times; please pass on our thankyous to them. A big bonus for us was the unexpected and very enjoyable live music which accompanied our evening meal. The music hit the spot and was clearly enjoyed by the young and old diners. It made our stay rather special. We shall be returning to this hotel on our way home in a fortnight. We look forward to our return visit. And picking up a left-behind pair of spectacles, thanks Belindah for your email and dealing with our oversight. Many thanks

Basic travel Hotel

I used this hotel as an overnight stop travelling from the South West to the North of France as it was close to the motorway. It is set among a retail park so not attractive. The hotel or should I call it a motel was clean and tidy and the staff were attentive. It has a bistro restaurant which provides evening meals and breakfast. I didn't use it for the evening. The breakfast was poor.. my biggest grumble was the room was cold. The top temperature is fixed at 19°. It was freezing outside and not much warmer inside. The manager offered me a fan heater but it didn't make much difference. For the same money I stopped in a far superior hotel on the Spanish border.
